Why the Owner Chose Puerto Aventuras
Personal experiences - Lucille and her husband were married nearby in Tulum. Lucille and Karen have traveled to this area frequently in the past and enjoy all it has to offer.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Very convenient especially with the improved highway between Tulum and Cancun. We especially love investigating the area with day trips to find new beaches, towns and snorkeling hot spots.
The condo itself is good for the soul since it is literally surrounded by water - no matter which room you go to you can see blue - the rooftop is a very special place to all of us and we love the peaceful tranquility it provides.
The condominium Casa Alegria is located 1 hour South of the Cancun airport and 10 minutes South of Playa del Carmen in the gated marina community of Puerto Aventuras.

We just returned from a two week vacation at Casa Alegria, the pictures did not do it justice. It was beautifully appointed in every way, from the roof deck that looked over to Cozumel, to the deck off of the living room that looked over the Marina. What more could we ask for, even the cleaners were there two times a week. We had friends staying in PA and had them over for drinks almost every evening just to sit on the deck and watch the sun go down. Whenever we needed anything, Andre's Leonardt (located at the Dive Aventuras by the Omni Hotel) was there to assist us and that he did. We loved to watch the Dolphins, walk around the town, eat at the great restaurants and swim in the most beautiful ocean. Can hardly wait to visit again and would highly recommend Casa Alegria.

My husband and I stayed at this condo last February, and had my mom stay with us for awhile, and 2 other friends visited too. The set up is wonderful, open and airy, with the PA breezes we didn't really use the AC at all. Just remember to put something heavy in front of the bedroom doors, or they'll slam shut, and they are big, loud doors! The kitchen had everything you could need, the beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms were awesome, and we loved the rooftop deck. The views, the breeze, the hammock--little slice of heaven up there! My husband and I have been coming to PA since 1995, and it never loses its charm. The people are friendly, lots of Americans and Canadians that will share their knowledge of the area with you. Everything in this small town is walking distance, this condo is about a 4 minute walk along the marina to the center of town. The town itself is in a great location on the coast to go exploring both north and south on the highway. I finally talked my husband into renting a car for this trip, we traveled back and forth picking up and dropping off our guests to the Cancun airport, visited and went grocery shopping in PDC several times, and we also explored south and drove all the way down to Sian Ka'an, and had no troubles whatsoever. In past years we always took the collectivo, which is very convenient, easy to catch right at the gates of PA up on the highway, and cheap too, but with the guests we had coming and going it was cheaper to have a car this time. The owner of this unit was very accessible, friendly and helpful. She really wants you to enjoy your vacation. The bikes needed a little work, and she told us "just call the management company, they'll take care of it for you." The management company is right next door to the Omni, and they are helpful and friendly as well. Would definitely stay here again!!

This condo is like something out of House Hunters International everything you need is here for a wonderful holiday. Had a relaxing week preparing for my daughters wedding at the Advenura spa palace ( should have been a stressful week!) , the condo is perfect walking distance to all the wonderful restaurants in Puerto Adventuras and a quick taxi or collectivo ride to Playa del Carmen where you can grocery shop for everything you need for a great dinner on the barbecue. Cant wait to go back!!!!

The condo was beyond our expectations. The location is perfect for exploring the area, we did 850 km just going from beach to beach. The cleaning staff was impecable and the pool was a nice change for the kids. Checking in and out was a breeze and it was nice to rediscover the area after a 9 yr absence.

We just came back from a one month stay at Casa Alegria, It was everything we expected and more. The views are great from every one of the three decks, the pool was very clean and well maintained as was the entire complex. The condo is very spacious and well provisioned for all your daily living requirements. A special thanks to Nils from the property management team for looking after our water needs and any other issues that required attention. This was our first time to PA and we would recommend this condo unit as a quiet, relaxing place to spend your hard earned vacation. You will not be disappointed.

This was our second visit to Puerto Aventuras and first to Casa Alegria. What a beautiful locale. The condo was so spacious and comfortable and the views from everywhere were spectacular. We especially enjoyed the roof top deck. We really appreciated the top of the line amenities and furnishings. It felt like we were in a five star resort. Also so nice to have internet and phone access to keep in touch with the less fortunate back home.We have found Puerto Aventuras to be an ideal destination for anyone looking for a tropical experience with beautiful scenery, uncrowded beaches and great weather. Being within minutes to Playa Del Carmen is a bonus when looking for shopping, night life and a little more action. Akumel is also a worthwhile trek for a change of scene.Dale enjoyed a fishing excursion while I visited the spa near the school and enjoyed a one hour massage in an immaculate setting for $35.00 US. Unbeatable, I recommend it. Luis in the Aqua World boat in the marina was more than accommodating and very reasonable for anyone looking to spend some time on the water. It was nice to see a few new restaurants since our visit last year and tried to frequent the little deli next to the Italian Bakery as they seem to be trying really hard to offer something a bit different. They have a great selections of wine and the baguettes are lovely. Try the meat and cheese plate for two if you’re looking for a European type of experience.Would love to return to Casa Alegria next year. Best kept secret in the Caribbean.Dale and Wendy StuparykBritish Columbia, Canada

We spent two weeks in January in the penthouse. It was a wonderful experience. We could enjoy the morning and afternoon sun and the midnight stars from the rooftop deck. Then, we enjoyed the late afternoon sun on the balcony outside the living/dining room. The pool was impeccable. Often, we were the only people using the pool, so it felt very private. We experienced a couple of cooler days, and therefore really appreciated the hot tub. I would definitely recommend this property to others.

A little piece of heaven! What isn't great about Casa Allegria? Stunning views, trendy yet peaceful decor, and a wonderful little town of adventure. Imagine waking up everyday and taking your breakfast to the roof top to watch the sunrise. Incredible! You will love walking around town, waving hello to Alexia, the new baby dolphin, and relaxing on the porch. Of course, falling asleep to the ocean waves and breeze wasn't to shabby either! Can't wait to go back and visit the nearby ruins in Tulum. You will love it here! Meagen

I spent the month of february at Casa Alegria and it was a very pleasant experience. I knew immediately when I walked in that I had made the right choice. The penthouse was as advertised. It is bright and airy, very nicely furnished with great views from both decks and the rooftop. It is well stocked so that we could prepare and serve any meal. The bedrooms are large and comfortable each with great bathrooms, great views and at night we could hear the surf and feel the breeze. We seldom used the air conditioning. The front deck was my retreat. Out there I read for hours, dined and watch the sights on the marina. Family and friends who visited off and on thought the rooftop was wonderful. There they lay in the sun and at night we had a drink and enjoyed the breezes and the sunsets. We found that we had the large pool to ourselves most of the time. Puerto Aventuras itself has many interesting features and we met many interesting people. It is a short drive to any number of place worth the visit. The owners and their management people were very helpful in making my visit so pleasant and for that I want to thank them. See you next year!!! Ed McParlan
