Enjoy a peaceful and beautiful setting directly on Lake Charlevoix for your family vacation. This home (#110462) will comfortably accommodate up to 8 people.
This private 4 bedroom, 3 bath home is conveniently located on the south side of the main part of Lake Charlevoix. (see map.) It has been recently remodeled and has a new kitchen, laundry room, updated baths, new carpeting, and fresh paint. This home is a direct waterfront property. There is no road between the home and lake, and no busy road at the front door.
Upon arrival you will drive down a long private driveway through a northern pine forest to the home. This drive is shared with one other home. The home is completely private and has a magnificent view of Lake Charlevoix.
The home has 2 family room areas that are adjoining. One for TV and dining; the other for games and reading. There are 4 bedrooms and a loft, and 3 bathrooms. The first floor has 3 bedrooms; the second floor has 1 bedroom and the loft. All bathrooms and the laundry room are on the first floor. There is also a screened porch facing the lake. New kitchen has large refrigerator with ice maker, trash compactor, microwave, dishwasher, disposal, and electric stove and oven. It is completely stocked with everything you will need for your vacation.
Outside, there is a huge deck with patio set and umbrella, many chairs, and huge GAS BBQ grill. There is also a second deck which is off of Bedroom #2.
The grassy yard is used for playing lawn games, and is adjacent to the beach area. The beach area has a patio table with umbrella and chairs, and reclining chairs for sunbathing.
The dock is equipped with a large sunning platform, and has an 18' canoe for your use.
In case of rain, we have fun during the summer on the screened porch playing cards and playing the many games that we have in the home.
No Smoking !!! No Pets!!!

We had a wonderful week in your beautiful lake home. Sitting on the deck we all commented that we could be anywhere in the world (as we have been) and this would equal the fantastic view off your deck! How very peaceful!
Your beds are very comfortable, kitchen well equipped, and there are fun games to play together! With the ferry just down the road, it made jaunts to Charlevoix very easy.

We had a great summer vacation at this property. It was so nice to be right on the water. We have 3 young kids who loved playing in the sand and in the calm waters of Lake Charlevoix. The house was very clean and the floorplan is nice and spreadout. There are many sleeping options. The kitchen is stocked with everything needed to cook for a large group. We also enjoyed the screened in porch and deck for eating and relaxing with the lake as a backdrop. The house is quiet and secluded yet located close to restaurants, golf, jet ski rental, etc. The property owners were thorough and timely with answering all of my questions prior to our stay. I would recommend this property for families with young children. We had a wonderful and memorable family vacation on Lake Charlevoix.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children.

The house was great! More than enough room for my family of four and my brothers family of four. We both had enough privacy when we needed it. Kitchen had everything for preparing our own meals. I think what we enjoyed the most about the house was sitting in the screened in porch in the evenings. There was a nice beach area for the kids to play in down by the water as well as a nice swim area at the end if the dock. The only draw back if the water front is it is rockey for walking right from shore into the water so we needed to pick up some water shoes for the little kids. We also enjoyed making s'mores on the beach with the fire pit down by the water. All in all it was a lovely beach front. We had easy access to either Charlevoux or Boyne City from this location. All in all we had a great time with our families and are already planning for next year! Thanks for the great stay....Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

We very much enjoyed our recent stay at this great house. The 4 1/2 bedroom house (the loft has a room with a door, and two beds in the open loft area) is in a great location 2 miles east of the Ironton Ferry. The house has a great beach, but bring your beach shoes, lots of rocks in the water until you reach the end of the dock. The deck is huge, perfect for enjoying barbecued meals. House was clean, well-maintained, with lots of towels provided. Only issue-we stayed during an especially hot week-and only the bedrooms have air conditioners. The upstairs room has a great one, quiet and very efficient, but only two of the downstairs bedrooms have them, and they are old and loud. Excellent dinner at Cava at Bay Harbor, and the reincarnation of Monte Bianco, Bella Vita, west of Boyne City is still a nice evening out. Would recommend to friends, but we may not return because could not bring our dog.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

Wonderful vacation home. Lake Charlevoix was beautiful and the home had plenty of space for our family of 11. The property is clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend this property rental.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, adventure seekers.

We had a wonderful week at your property on Lake Charlevoix. Enjoyed the extra sleeping accommodations this time and as always found your home very comfortable and well-equipped and the swimming superb! Our grandchildren loved the dock for fishing & swimming both and the sand beach for building castles and roasting s'mores. Our weather was perfect and certainly preferable to our 100+ heat & humidity. Look forward to coming again. Thanks for being so welcoming!
