The first floor cottage is nestled among the dunes where you'll enjoy the sun in your own private sandy yard sheltered from the occasional winds. Perfect for a game of volleyball or horseshoes. You'll find a fully stocked kitchen, recently updated appliances including bar blender. Cook on the Weber gas grill or eat out at one of the many dining restaurants close by. Your sleeping accommodations are clean and comfortable. A ceiling fan in each bedroom assures your comfort. Full bath with tub and half bath in master suite are up to date and always clean. All new carpet and paint just completed for the 2010 season!
The second floor cottage boasts spectacular views of the Atlantic ocean both north and south. Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck while watching the waves and seagulls. Inside, the living area is a peaceful palette of blues. A fully stocked kitchen including bar blender. Weber gas grill for your outdoor cooking. Sleeping is a breeze in comfortable, clean accommodations with ceiling fans. Full bath with tub and half bath in the master suite complete this floor.
As a guest you'll enjoy the convenience of the nearby grocery and liquor stores, restaurants, take-outs, ice cream, shopping, bike rental, amusement park, mini-golf, art festivals and more. Rent a boat and go fishing and crabbing. Or for a more peaceful tour of the back bays try a kayak. And, don't forget to pick up a few shells right out your back door when spending a lazy day on the beach. You're a short drive heading north on the Island to the historic Barnegat Lighthouse where you can race up the 217 steps for a breathtaking view of the area. Why the Owner Chose Beach Haven Park
This house is conveniently located about half way down the south side of LBI. Close enough to the stuff for the kids in Beach Haven far enough away from the traffic. And what could be better than oceanfront! Great view from the top deck and your own back yard beach for volleyball, horseshoes, and building sand castles.

No matter what part of the day you call your favorite, you'll find something that you will remember far past your stay. Take an early morning walk on the beach and pick up some sea treasures washed up from the gently rolling waves. Put your head back and smell the sweet salty air. Later,go for a swim and then lounge in your sand chair reading that book you've been meaning to get to. Or play with the kids...go ahead let 'em bury you in the sand, at least once! Enjoy happy hour on the deck while grilling some local seafood and don't forget to walk down to LB Blvd. to get ice cream...and maybe a round of mini-golf.

Welcome to Long Beach Island...my summer destination to relax, de-stress and have fun! I am fortunate to have a place to call home on LBI since 1972 when my parents purchased a small beach house. I spent most summers and weekends here. Although the landscape has changed, little beach houses have been replaced by the family compound - LBI still holds the magic of endless summer memories with family and friends.
