This is an immaculate vacation home for rent.

A one minute walk to Lake Erie, the marina, the beach, lakefront restaurant, a park and a playground.

The public beach is quiet and feels very private.

Located in the village of Colchester on the shores of Lake Erie - just 35 minutes from Windsor and Detroit, Michigan.

2 Bedroom, 3 Bath, 1800 square foot home, 2 storey, modern open floor layout, all ceramic floors.

Sleeps 6 people comfortably. We can provide a queen size air mattress if needed.

Discover the local wineries, countryside, Lake Erie, Point Pelee National Park, and Pelee Island. Enjoy walking, biking, boating, fishing, bird watching

This is an ideal peaceful setting for a romantic getaway, or a great place for families.

  • We can't tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at Anne's Retreat! It was perfect. The house is wonderful and had everything we could have hoped for. After long days of playing golf and exploring the area, we loved coming back to a cozy home to cook a great meal, enjoy some local wine and (thanks to the thoughtful amenities) play Boggle! We’ll absolutely do this again!

  • What a great place to get away to! It has everything you need and more. Lots of classy personal touches. Loved the jet tub, and the kids had a great time playing in the big yard, at the park, and at the beach. Weather was just about perfect and I think I might like to try it in the winter. Didn't even get the opportunity to use the fireplace! Very cozy. Thanks Anne.

  • Positive is not the word! Fabulous! Ideal! That would be more like it!! Anne's retreat was stylish, modern, convenient, and comfortable. I loved how close it was to the lake and a variety of attractions, but I would go back just to enjoy the home again as well! I almost hate to write this review, because I don't want the home to be booked when I am free to visit next. Anne was so accommodating and generous though, that I had to write something wonderful:)

  • My friend and I rented Anne's retreat to have a girls weekend. What a great place to go! It was so relaxing and comfortable,I just couldn't believe our luck in finding this treasure! It was home away from home minus the STRESS. The house had everything we needed and with the lake so close, it was ideal. I came back and reccommended Anne's retreat to several close friends and business associates. I am already trying to find a time to escape to Anne's retreat again! Thanks so much for sharing it!

  • Stayed at Anne's in July 2007. We loved Anne's retreat! It is beautifully decorated, very clean and conveniently located to canoeing, biking, the lake, restaurants, etc. The house has all of the amenities you could dream of utilizing. The local Canadians were all so kind and gracious. Thank you Anne's Retreat. We had an incredible vacation!
