Where to begin? I think someone already stated that the pictures don't do this home justice. They were so right! The ocean felt a lot closer than the pictures made it seem, and we loved being able to hear the waves hit the shore. I researched a TON of rentals and for the price, location, quality of the home, and amenities, nothing beats this home! My only disappointment? That we didn't book it for longer! The house was exactly what we needed, clean, bright and a great location. We walked to the beach twice a day each day and never got tired of it. We had family over for dinner one night and all the necessities were in place for us to cook and the five of us ate around the island. (the sun room off the kitchen which is what they use as a dining room is a little tight) It is by no means fancy but has a great feel. The neighboring lots are vacant which is awesome because the deer hang out there and what neighbors are around we barely saw. Hot tub was clean and you can enjoy while facing the water. It was just my husband and I but if you had kids the extra bathrooms and bedrooms are perfect. It was very easy to rent and get in and out of. They were super accommodating and overall a very pleasant experience.

My family stayed here for our summer vacation in 2007. It is perfectly located and has everything you need. We had one of our best family vacations here!! The owners are amazing and so is the house!! It is beautifully decorated and has a private master suite with an amazing view. We walked around the streets in the neighborhood and saw lots of deer and wildlife. It was perfect!!

This was my second trip to Bodega Bay this year. I had previously stayed at a home on Cliff Avenue and thought it couldn't get any better than that... boy was I wrong! This property is located in a development right across the road from Portuguese and Schoolhouse beach... both beaches which are one of my favorites in Bodega. The house itself is amazing... very roomy, cozy, clean, beautifully decorated... has all top notch appliances... condiments available, everything needed for your stay. Even little details like a baby gate for the stairs and baby electrical plug covers! plenty of board games for the kids to play in drawers, DVD's.. Jaccuzi outside. plenty of extra pillows/blankets/towels. There was nothing that I could find that was missing... nothing that I can write that could be improved. It was perfect. The master bedroom upstairs is pure luxury from the jetted tub to the walk in slate shower, to the balcony overlooking the ocean... perfection I second guessed writing a review for them so I could try to keep this place a secret and keep it all to myself :) but.. it's too beautiful to be kept a secret. If it's available, book, you won't be disappointed. Thank you for letting us stay at your gorgeous home! We'll be making this place a must stay for our future stays.
