Check out time is 11:00 am on the last day of your reservation. There are no early check ins or late check outs. When checking out, please use the Checkout Checklist, which you will find in the House Binder. DIRECTIONS From Highway 101, take the River Road exit west through Guerneville (now Highway 116) to Monte Rio (about 21 miles). Once in Monte Rio, stay left at the stop sign/fork (Vacation Wonderland sign), turn left at the stop sign and proceed over the bridge. Take the first left onto River Blvd. Go through two stop signs and the house will be on your left (address will be provided to you 72 hours in advance of your check in date). PARKING The address numbers for Jujube are on the recessed gated fence the designates your parking spot (and not on the house to the left). Go slow and look for the address number on the gate. Park in front of the gate, head in (don’t hang out into the street). DO NOT park in front of the upper house as that spot belongs to that house. We can only allow one car per reservations, as the available spots in front of other homes in the neighborhood should remain available to them. ACCESS VIA KEYLESS ENTRY Enter the property through the gate, head through the garden, down along the right side of the house and around to the deck. Jujube is accessed via a keyless entry system located on the center set of French doors on the deck. Your custom keyless entry code is provided to you 72 hours in advance of your check in date. It is only active from 4:00pm on your arrival date until 11:00am on your departure date. EVERY TIME YOU CLOSE THE DOOR, IT WILL LOCK FROM THE OUTSIDE. Please be mindful of this. UPON ARRIVAL We want you to have a wonderful and memorable stay at Jujube. If there is anything of concern, please let us know as soon as possible. AUTHORIZED USE AND GUESTS The premises are for the sole use a personal vacation residence by the renter and up to one other occupant for the time period as noted above. Up to two other daytime guests are permitted between the hours of 7:00 am and 10:00 pm. Parties, events and loud gatherings of any kind are never allowed. Mandatory quiet time for vacation rentals in Sonoma County is 10:00pm to 7:00am. POSTED RULES AND REGULATIONS Please comply with any and all rules and regulations posted on the premises, including signage around the property and in the House Binder and/or delivered electronically. Failure to do so could result in a service charge. BASIC HOUSE RULES • Please be respectful of the above mentioned quiet hours. No continuous loud music on the deck or other outdoor areas at any time. The neighbors want to enjoy the peace and tranquility of their decks and home. Sound travels very well in the river valley. • Please conserve energy and water whenever possible. Please turn down the heat when out for the day and at night. • Please follow the garbage/trash/recycling rules detailed below. • There is a detailed Check Out Checklist in the House Binder. Please follow these simple procedures to ensure we can prepare the house for the next guests. It’s all pretty standard for any vacation rental. • Temporary structures (including tents) and RV’s are prohibited. DOG RULES We don’t charge a dog fee or deposit, because we are dog owners and lovers and find that most of our guests are as conscientious as we are. Please remember that other guests that do not have dogs and wouldn’t care for doggie hair on the personal belongings. In that spirit, some basic guidelines: • The furniture and the house linens should be kept free of dog hair, and the house linens and blankets should not be used for dogs. • Please clean up dog waste from the property and neighborhood. • Dogs must have flea and tick protection, be secured on the property at all times and crated when left alone inside the house, and are never allowed in the hot tub. • Please obey local leash laws and the county ordinance against excessive barking in vacation rentals. Your pup isn’t allowed to roam the property or neighborhood unattended. STANDARD AMENITIES WE PROVIDE We try to keep everything up to date. Any amenity not on this list is subject to change without notice. • Stove, refrigerator, blender, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, complete cookware, dishes, glassware, and flatware. • An initial supply of toilet paper (two rolls and a spare per bathroom) and one roll of paper towels • Dishwashing, dishwasher, laundry, and liquid hand soap • Trash bags, dish towel (sponges not included) • Washer, dryer, iron, ironing board • Gas barbecue grill. Propane is provided. • Cable/satellite television, DVD, WIFI • Hard-wired telephone (local calls only). Cell service is not guaranteed. • One set of bed linens. Beds will be made up with fresh linens. • One set of bath towels per person (a set is one bath towel and one hand towel) AMENITIES WE DON’T PROVIDE There is a 24-hour Safeway store in Guerneville where additional supplies and groceries can be purchased. • Firewood and/or kindling or starters (unless noted in house amenities) • Kitchen sponges • Bars of soap or shampoo TRASH AND RECYCLING • Please recycle to the maximum to prevent overfilling the cans. • On Thursday evening (if this applies to your stay), take your trash and recycling to the appropriate cans (Gray is trash, Blue is recycling, Green is yard waste). Move the cans out to the curb for pick up. The lids must open out to the road, and the cans set three feet apart from each other. • The cans are kept to the left of the entry gate to the property • Friday morning, the trash service will pick up the trash from the cans. Once the trash has been removed, replace cans in their original location to the left of your entry gate. • Upon departure, please place any remaining trash and recycling from the house in the appropriate cans. RIVER INFORMATION Roughly May 1 to October 1 the river is gentle, with very little white water, and warm enough to swim. Water levels vary greatly, depending on rainfall and the summer dams. Roughly November 1 to April 1, the river is very swift, deep and muddy, and not safe for swimming or boating. Depending on rainfall, the beach is more or less under water. River levels are a complex system. We cannot guarantee river levels, river access or frontage conditions at any time of the year. By federal law, river beaches are open to the public up to the ‘high water mark’ if they are access by water. A group of kayakers may pull up to ‘your’ beach and enjoy a picnic. They are completely within their rights to do so.
