Nestled nicely within yards of the tranquil bay, ocean surf and Belmont amusement park, this newly remodeled duplex has 2-bedroom 2-bath beach units equipped with brand new flooring, furniture, window blinds, and amenities to make your stay comfortable and memorable.
Each unit sleeps 4 to 6 with Queen beds in each bedroom and a portable air mattress. These tropical themed units have full kitchens, cable TV, and dedicated parking (one space per unit). The patio area includes a picnic table, patio set, and a gas grill. The upstairs unit has another separate patio area (with picnic table and gas grill), as well as two private balconies.
Each bedroom has a brand new Queen bed, televisions in the Master bedroom, and the comforts of the island lifestyle. Guests also have free use of the washer and dryer on the premises. There is wireless internet access in each unit (Wi-Fi). The upstairs unit has HDTV and broadband internet access. This unit can be rented with the accompanying duplex (also 2-bedroom 2-bath) to double the accommodations.
All the amenities for enjoying the beach are included - beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, as well as boogie boards and floating noodles. Beach Cruiser riding bikes are also included to cruise the boardwalk or baywalk.
Stroll down to the boardwalk or bay to access multiple activities such as sailing, kayaking, windsurfing, or jet skiing. Or have an enchanting evening on the beach at multiple conveniently located eateries. Belmont Park amusement center is about 150 yards away for kids to indulge upon when not basking in the sun on the beach.
Many of San Diego's attractions such as Sea World, the Downtown Gaslamp District, Old Town San Diego, Petco Park, and the world famous San Diego Zoo, are a short drive away. Enjoy an evening cruising on the Bahia Belle, a 'Turn of the Century' style Mississippi-style sternwheeler boat featuring dancing, live music, and cocktails while cruising the bay adjacent your private vacation home.

This was a perfect location for us. Close to Belmont Park Great little restaurants. The Bayside and beach were just a short walk Thanks Art for providing bikes,chairs,towels and toys for the kids We had a fun time.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We really enjoyed our stay in San Diego. We stayed in the upper unit of the Condo. The unit was clean and well maintained. The location was perfect. A quick walk to the bay, ocean and easy walks to coffee and food. Parking was a great plus along with the toys and bikes in the garage. Would recommend this unit to other travelers.Recommended for: Families with young children.

Had a great time, everything you need to have fun on the beach or the bay is there.The only thing is it does not have the ESPN channel on the cable tv. Other than that its a great place. I`m looklng foward to return next summer.Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Our family of 5 recently spent a week in this condo, very clean and comfortable, so close to the beach and Belmont Park. The beach chairs, boogie board, and cooler provided were great, and we were able to barbecue on the lanai with a great view of the Sea World fireworks every night. We would definitely recommend to families. The only downside is parking is limited if you have more than one car. Other than that, great vacation rental!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

My whole family enjoyed staying in the condo. Comfortable furniture and everything we needed to create a home away from home. Very convenient location to both ocean and bay. We stayed in the upstairs unit which had plenty of room for us (5). This is a great location, bike rentals a minute away, gym at Belmont a 5 minute walk, and the beach on the ocean or bay side were about a 3 minute walk. The WiFi was a definite plus as was the DVD player for movie nights. Parking was no problem. We particularly enjoyed bike riding around the bay and on the boardwalk. The condo was perfect for our vacation. It was very clean upon our arrival, had plenty of room for all of us and had everything we were looking for in a rental. We really loved the patio area and riding the bikes through the surrounding neighborhood. The location is ideal. Every place we went was a short drive away and the beach was only a few minutes’ walk. We had a great trip out to Mission Beach! The house was VERY clean upon our arrival. It was SO close to the bay and the beach. Our kids had a great time walking to and from the beach. The accomodations were great. It was also nice to have a designated parking spot.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

About the owner: I purchased this vacation rental because I enjoy being around the beach. Whether swimming, running the boardwalk, kayaking around the bay, or enjoying the many fine restaurants, Mission Beach is a fun place to visit year-round.
Why the Owner Chose Mission Beach:
I wanted a location that was centrally located between the beach, bay, and Belmont Park. I also wanted a location that was reasonably quiet, not too close to the amusement park or the boardwalk. Luckily, I found a property where I could be at the bay, beach or park, in less than two minutes of walking. Many of my guests have praised the outstanding location. Families enjoy the quietness, safety, and convenience of the location.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Guests enjoy barbequing on the gas grills that I provide. In addition, I provide multiple bicycles for tenant use, which saves them money on potential rentals. Besides the spacious accommodations, guests come back for repeat visits because of the individual care and attention that they receive during their visits. I also enjoy surfing, kayaking, and swimming in the ocean. My property provides a nice, convenient, centrally located site to stage my gear for all water activities.
