Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2007
We grew up just east of our condo in Palatka. Crescent Beach was "our beach" growing up and we still enjoy it immensely. We bought our unit so we could visit frequently with family and friends in the area. We renovated the unit and furnished it for our personal use but decided to rent it occasionally. The area is great and will be our retirement home one day. Great beaches and surf, outstanding fishing and sightseeing, wonderful resturants and great local people and beach culture.
Why the Owner Chose Crescent Beach
Love the location-stuck between the beach and intercoastal waterway with a short walk to both! Running/walking on an uncrowded beach, fishing in the intercoastal, watching dolphins swim by, eating amazing seafood at the local restaurants.....so many reasons, so much to enjoy!
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
Very short walk to beach where my wife likes to run and also a short walk to the intercoastal where I like to fish; both via public access (beach walkover and public boat dock/ramp. Unit is in a quiet complex with most units occupied by permanent residents. Nice pool and tennis courts were resurfaced Spring 2010.

This is the tidiest little condo with some wonderful touches to make you feel at home. My husband and I were more than pleased with the condo and the complex--quiet and convenient to the beach, grocery and Old St. Augustine. While an older property, it is obvious that Andy and his wife have kept this unit up-to-date. They are also very generous to offer the use of their beach equipment, and even a set of golf clubs! Our three kids (15, 12 and 9) loved the twin over double bunk bed with a TV in their room. (You'd think they'd OD on Disney!) There was also a roll-away bed (just in case their brother got disgusted with sharing with his sisters). The master queen bed was great too. Andy is excellent to deal with and very quick to answer emails and phone calls--very accessible and very personable. You won't be disappointed staying here!

Our family of five had a wonderful, relaxing time for a week at the condo! Everything was as described in the listing. We had everything we could need plus more. Our three kids loved the pool (even more than the beach) it was wonderfully kept and clean. The intercoastal waterway was just behind the condos and the sunset was beautiful along with the early sunrise across the street at the beach. While boogie boarding, a dolphin swam right by us! Enjoyed the sites and history of St.Augustine and Fort Matanzas, saw the sunset and had a wonderful dinner at Caps (ask a local), an ECO boat tour which we saw dolphins, a manatee, and various birds and a Trolley Ghost Tour which included going into the Old Jail. Would recommend this condo to anyone looking to stay in the St. Augustine area. It's not too far from anything in the area but away from the crowds! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Thanks so much for the use of such a beautiful home away from home. We didn't want to leave. Everything we needed was right there. Enjoyed the beach, the historical sites and the shopping. Also just something to look for while there, in the inlet we saw what we believe to have been a manatee.

We had a great experience renting this condo. The walk to the beach was easy and we loved the beach!!! It really helped that the condo was packed with beach chairs and boogy boards. The boys loved the 2nd bedroom with twin beds and games. Parking was so convenient, right out our door! The pool was great - clean, big, nice picnic area! Great little pizza place down the road. We would love to come back to this condo! (This comment was delayed due to a family emergency that happened when we got back from vacation.)

I am writing this with the risk that after many of you read it, we may not find an open availability the next time we would like to visit again. My husband, our two daughters (18 and 21) and myself, all agree that this condo and our vacation were absolutely amazing! The location is perfect, with a very short walk to an almost private beach and about the same distance to the peaceful inter-coastal waterway. Delicious dining at the South Beach Grill, which we enjoyed several times, is also within a very short walking distance. The condo itself is spotless and has a classy, cheerful, beach cottage feel in the decor. The beds are so comfortable! It is very obvious that the owners take great care in the upkeep of the unit and making sure that visitors have all the essentials to make their stay a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Mr. Jordan made everything so easy for us by providing all the necessary paperwork and information in a very timely manner and by staying in communication to make sure we were satisfied. You would have a very hard time trying to find anyone better with which to do business. We truly did not want to leave and now dream of living at Pelican Inlet. Give this one a try, it has to be the best value in St. Augustine! You will NOT be disappointed!!!! :) :) :) :) We are sure of it!

My family stayed here in August, and I am literally counting the days down until I can stay again next summer. We love the decor of the condo and the relaxing atmosphere of the complex. We were at the beach or the pool every day! The complex is well maintained and the pool was fabulous (we felt like we had our own private pool--it was never crowded!). This was the second year that someone from my family has stayed in this unit. We can't wait to stay again!

We visited the beach and dock daily and loved every minute, the beach was never overcrowded. We had a wonderful stay, Andy is a pleasure to do business with. If we are ever back in the area we hope to be able to stay again.

What a beautifully kept condo! I took my two boys to the beach for a last minute summer vacation and we had a great time! Andy Jordan was a wonderful host in that he provided me with plenty of information so that we didn't feel lost in a place we'd never been! The Beach was family oriented and not over crowded, the area was pleasant and had everything we needed. The pool was big and cozy at the same time. Overall one of the best vacations I've had in a LONG time! Highly recommend this condo and VRBO! Thank you Andy!
