We really enjoyed our stay this year in your Tubac condo. Everything was so well appointed, organized and clean. We couldn't have been more pleased with our accommodations. Also, the location was very convenient for walking to restaurants and shops, as well as the wonderful pool and common areas. We especially enjoyed using the bicycles and the spectacular views from the sky porch. We are already looking forward to our return next winter to our home away from home in sunny southern Arizona.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, age 55+, romantic getaway.

We enjoyed 9 wonderful days in this special desert setting. The accommodations were wonderful, well appointed and gave a true feeling of being "home". We felt like we "owned" it and had lived there forever, almost immediately. The decor was tastefully done in every room, down to the finest detail. Everywhere you looked was like "candy to the eye". We knew we were "home" in Arizona. We particularly enjoyed the outside "lookout" area up the winding staircase just outside the front door on the enclosed private first level patio. On high, the view of the Santa Rita mountains was simply magnificent. Daily, we spent time reading or simply gazing, absorbing the internal theraputic affects from our surroundings. There was a nice table with 4 chairs, an outside gas grill and wet bar. We cooked steaks out on two nights and had a nice dinner as the sun sat in the west, with glimpses of an early rising full moon in the east. Worthy of a wine toast as a wonderful day faded into night. We enjoyed Tubac village but did not spend a lot of time perusing the many wonderful and eclectic shops found there - it's just "not our thing". An afternoon trip was taken to Arivaca and the Buenos Aires reserve for an interesting loop through a remote wetland wilderness. Though it was touted as a great place for birding, few of any interest were seen...the only exception was a nude jogger some 60+ years old - we decided it must have been the proverbial "Jay Bird"...We enjoyed a trip to Sonoita and Patagonia. The drive was scenic and peaceful. Highly recommend lunch/dinner at The Cafe in Sonoita. Great wine country that we will spend time with on our next adventure, when we return in the future. A trip to the nearby old mission at Tumacacori will not disappoint! The Market in Tubac Village is excellent for nice cuts of meats and fresh fish, with many nice choices. Apparently they receive fresh shipments beginning Wednesdays...don't go on Tuesday expecting availability - you will be disappointed! Pastries were equally wonderful. Nice beer and wine selections. It is rather pricey to shop for the week there, so we suggest a nice drive down to Nogales - exit 4. Take a left and you'll find a Safeway just down the road on your right. Excellent prices, especially on wines and spirits. The owner was very attentive for any needs we had - large or small. We will NOT hesitate to return at anytime in the future. It was indeed..."very cool"!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful townhome in Tubac. The townhome and grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The views are amazing from inside of the house and from the outdoor patio. We enjoyed using the gas grill as well as the well equipped kitchen. The pool area also had wonderful views and was a very relaxing place to visit. This is definitely a place we would love to visit again. It was an all around great experience.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

We spent seven wonderful nights here in November and that turned out to be too short. This townhouse is even more beautiful than the photos -- tastefully furnished, incredibly clean, in pristine condition in fact. And if you've never been to Tubac before you are in for a real treat. Everyone -- the neighbors, the shopkeepers and the property manager were so helpful and friendly. It's a very short and pleasant walk to the pool, spa and workout room as well as to the town itself which has a wonderful selection of shops, galleries and restaurants. We're not golfers but our friends tell us that you won't find a nicer course West of the Mississippi. You might say that Tubac has it all and this town home is the perfect place to stay. My wife and I stayed at this super condo in Tubac this past October. We both agree it was one of the nicest weeks we’ve spent on vacation –relaxing and incredibly BEAUTIFUL. The Santa Rita Mountains are majestic and right outside every window of the home. They’re also walkable. We took several excursions to nearby Maderia Canyon which has great hiking trails. From a practical point of view – the house has it all: a complete kitchen, comfortable beds, flat screen TVs, a laundry room, an outdoor roof deck and a pool that rivals the Beverly Hills Hotel. We will be back.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed at this Embarcadero condo with two friends from Los Angeles. Neither of us had been to Tubac before. What a lovely spot in Arizona! And this adorable town home made the visit all the more special. We had breakfast on the upstairs deck every morning and then strolled to the beautiful pool for a swim right after. It was better then staying in a hotel. The beds were comfortable, there were flat screen TVs, a well-equpped kitchen and the town home complex was attractive and well-designed.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Your town home is situated in one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. The website description and photos did not do it justice. We really enjoyed our time there, wish it were longer. The home is fully equipped as you promised. Just like home.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/3

Why the Owner Chose Tubac:
I wanted a desert home that I could enjoy myself and also share with guests. It had to be serene, beautiful yet have a community feeling. Tubac fit the bill. I fall in love with this place again and again each time I come to stay.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Each morning in the winter I light the patio fireplace and have my coffee watching the sun create a glow around the Santa Rita Mountains. This is a great place to commune with nature while taking advtange of the many activities the area offers -- walking, hiking, biking, horseback riding, tennis, golf. Visit one of the two local spas or watch a DVD on our wide screen TV. Tubac is a true vacation spot in one of the most beautiful parts of the world. Plus the high altitude affords cooler summers and warmer winters that much of Arizona.
