We wanted a place to be where we could travel to places we had not seen before. The North Carolina side of the Great Smokey's is beautiful; no congestion; easy to get around on the senic roads with lots of twists and turns.. The cabin was homey, well equiped and the beds comfortable. We spent a lot of time sitting on the front porch looking accross the valley. As the light changed the mountains changed in appearance. The kitchen was well equipted. The cabin was as described by the owner he even suggested place to go and eat which turned out to be good.Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+.
