  We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at this cozy Cambria home. If you want to just kick back and relax, this is your place! My kids enjoyed the tidepools and the nature trail which are within walking distance from the house. It was nice to just sit on the upstairs patio and read my book with that ocean breeze and all so quiet. It was very comfortable for the 4 of us (has sleeping for 6). The kitchen was complete with dishes, utensils, cookware, coffeemaker, salt, pepper and other items to make meal prep easy. Towels and linens are provided and the washer/dryer is also handy. We got to watch fireworks at Shamel Park (we drove 'coz of the kids). Morro Bay, Cayucos and San Simeon are a few minutes drive. It took about 30 minutes to go to San Luis Obispo to enjoy the street fair on Thursday.

  I must say our stay was very nice. To start I should mention that the agent that helped with the rental was very accomidating. She was helpful and pleasant. The kitchen and living room are on the top floor, really nice for us after a long day of walking around to have the bedrooms on the ground floor. The house was cozy and comfortable. It was a couple of blocks to the beach and the incline was not bad for my old legs. The neighborhood is pleasant, very friendly people with quiet and peaceful surroundings. How often can you see deer walking down the street that aren't even startled when you watch them. The bed we slept in was very comfortable. My wife is a neat freak and she was pleased. I must say the house and bathrooms were spotless! Our little dog just loved it too, even he was so peaceful and relaxed. It is a short drive into the main street in town (the locals give great service and are very nice). Finally and perhaps most important to some people, there were no hidden fees or suprises financially. Something I can't say about other rentals.

  We recently stayed at this charming little house in Cambria, a short two block walk from the ocean front. There is a cute little rocky beach there, with public access that you can sit on with a blanket and bottle of wine, the really makes a star filled night memorable. The house, on a corner lot, is closely surrounded by other homes, however you don't feel that they are too close. The house is well appointed, with everything you need for cooking a great meal. There is a large dining table in the kitchen as well that will fit six people comfortably. I loved the living area. There were several large comfortable chairs and a nice sofa that were all comfortable. The beds were comfortable as well, and the rooms were spacious. I liked that they were all downstairs so that when people wanted to stay up and watch TV or talk, they didn't bother the folks downstairs sleeping. All in all we loved this place. We will be back. Be careful when driving into the garage or you may scrape the bottom of your vehicle. It is steep and you should drive in very slowly.

  Haven't never rented through VRBO, we were somewhat apprehensive. However, Debbie responded immediately to our questions via phone calls & emails and even included a list of her favorite restaurants. The directions to the house were perfect and the location was exactly as described. We felt like it was a family friend's house - unpretentious and cozy. The house was neat as a pin, comfortable and complete with amenities such as washer/dryer, kitchen appliances, soap/lotion, etc. Restaurant menus and activites close by were complied and left in a binder for us. The area was quiet and the stars were amazing. The house couldn't be more convenient to downtown Cambria, shops, grocery stores, restaurants, etc., and the beach was a block & a half away. The walk overlooking the ocean was breathtaking. Additionally, the Hearst Castle was no more than 15 minutes away. I've already recommended the house to several friends and would be happy to rent it again . . . next time though for longer than just a weekend.

  The house was very clean & well stocked -we were able to cook all of our meals there with ease! (BBQ is not gas - so bring charcoal), beautiful beach - we saw otters AND whales!!, friendly town, great walks - and perfect weather made it an amazing birthday weekend for me with my family! Could not have had a better experience!! Thank you!!

  We loved this house. We stayed in Debbie's home during December 2011 (5 girlfriends). The house hugged us from the moment of entry and allowed us to relax and be comfortable as if we were old friends. The neighborhood couldn't be finer and the people of Cambria are divine. If you want to feel at home away from home, this is the house for you. We had such a wonderful time that we will be making this a year occurrence.   All the amenities of home and then some! We've been using Vacation Rentals for several years now and this property was absolutely one of the best maintained. Fully equipped kitchen on the second floor with the patio and living room adjacent. Plus, it's in a great location - tidepool beach just down the block, a few minutes from the charming West and East Villages in town, close to Morro Bay, with San Luis Obispo just a half hour away, spectacular local beaches (don't miss the sea lions at Leffingwell Landing). Lovely two-story home, superbly located. No tv reception, but you learn to do without the evening news.
