This unit is very poorly maintained. The carpet is very stained, looks like vomit, and feels dirty under foot. The mattress is uncomfortable and has a large dip in it and creaks every time that you move. The sheets on the bed are threadbare and the comforter has stains on the backside of it. The sofa in the living room is covered in stains. When we stayed a week ago we pulled out a cookie sheet to bake cookies and it had caked on food all over it, filthy!! The patio door in the bedroom barely opens to the patio. The patio furniture has rips on the cushions. Save your money on THIS unit. We have stayed in other units that were very nice, clean, and comfortable. The complex itself is great and offers lots of amenities. This owner clearly does not care about guest satisfaction as we contacted him about these issues and have not heard a word from him.
Owner response:This is the third complaint in 5 years. The 2 previous complaints were made during the parties stay, and immediately resolved. In fact one has booked for 3 years in a row. This is the first complaint made after check out. The carpets were steam cleaned the day before her check in. This person booked the condo for My 20-28, check in is at 4pm. They repeatedly asked to check in on the 19th for free. They were offered the 19th at a reduced rate but chose not to book it. We let them check in at the beginning of business on the 20th (approximately 7 hours early). They spent 8 days in the condo and did not say a word to me or the management company. On the night of the 29th I received a laundry list of complaints, similar to but not exactly the same as, the review. One important thing missing from the review is their request for a refund. The next day an owner did a walk thru to check out the complaint. The current renter was present, and when asked specifically about each item on the list they had no complaints. The owner and his 14 year old daughter were able to easily open and close the sliding glass door. On the 1st the owner of the management company did a walk thru as well. Both parties determined that the condition of the condo was consistent with normal wear and tear for a rental condo. There were small stains under the dining table, and the back of the couch also had small stains. If this person had called anytime during the 8 days of their stay we would have had the chance to try and fix the issue or refund the unused days of the rental. It was determined, after the condition of the condo was verified, that the complaint was an attempt to extort a free vacation and that we would not legitimize the complaint by responding to it. If someone goes to a restaurant eats an 8 course meal, pays goes home than complains and asks for a refund the next day I have to question their motives, and that is what we did here.
