Absolutely AWESOME Experience At The Catalina!!!

We just returned from our 20th Anniversary visit to Grand Case and our stay at the Catalina. First of all, Jean Pierre is just great to deal with ... excellent communication, easy money transfer, well-written contract, etc. We arrived at the airport and was immediately greeted by Mickael from Banana Location with our rental car and he let us follow him to the Catalina. Mickael was great to deal with and had good prices. If renting a car you should definitely check him out. Once arriving at the Catalina, we were then greeted by Patricia from Sun Sea to provide us the keys and details for the Catalina. This was also a perfect experience. We must say that the Catalina is absolutely beautiful and I would bet one of the best places to stay in Grand Case. The unit was exactly as pictured, located directly in the middle of Grand Case Beach, and had absolutely stunning views. We were amazed at how large the Catalina was. The best part of the Catalina, in our opinion, was the doors opening onto the balcony over the beach slid open all the way making for a very large opening to the beautiful view. The kitchen was well equipped, but did not get much use due to all the great restaurants right outside the front door. This was our first trip to St. Martin and will definitely not be our last. It was beautiful, with friendly people, great beaches, and awesome food. Thank you Jean Pierre for allowing us to stay in your beautiful Catalina. It was the absolute best place to stay ... easy to make reservations and arrangements, perfect location, very-well maintained and very clean, and exactly as described. Our 20th anniversary was a perfect trip in large part due to picking the perfect place to stay!!! We will definitely be returning!!!

We just returned from a week at the Catalina apartment in beautiful Grand Case. The apartment was exactly as described and pictured. It has the best location on the beach and street. Two balconies for hours of relaxation and enjoyment. Very clean and comfortable, well equipped (though with all the great restaurants close by we didn't cook). Met at the airport by the car rental company who then took us to meet the property manager who let us in and made sure everything was okay before she left. We did tour the island and several beaches, but spent most of our time on the beach in front of the apartment as it was fantastic for swimming or long walks. With direct beach access from the basement, there was no need to pack a cooler...just run upstairs to the fridge! We loved everything about our stay at the Catalina and are already thinking about renting it again next year. The whole process was effortless and the owner excellent to deal with. We really felt at home here.

Your condo was wonderful! We had a fun time on Grand Case & feel we picked the perfect place on all the island. Great location, great beach access & beautiful views, comfortable furnishings, wonderful French restaurants (hence your nice kitchen didn’t get used much except for fresh croissants from around the corner). We highly recommend & hope to return many times!

This was our third year staying at the beautiful Catalina. It was everything it claims to be and more. The views are spectacular and the veranda overlooking the street are perfect for Harmony nights during high season. We always find the Catalina to be very well kept and very clean. The local village has many wonderful places to experience French Cuisine and local island foods as well. Any opportunity we have, we will always stay at Catalina, and I would recommend the Catalina to anyone who wants a quality place to stay.

This was a wonderful place to spend our 30th Anniversary, it was everything stated on the website and more. The photos did accurately reflect the rental's appearance and amenities it was very clean and well maintained. We have recommended this property already to family and friends. Grand Case is a picture perfect place to spend a vacation, the restaurants were fantastic and the people are very friendly and helpful. We definitely will be spending another vacation there next year and we hope to extend it for two weeks that is how much we enjoyed staying at the Catalina Jame and Dianne Todd

We and two friends just concluded a memorable one week stay at Catalina. The listing description and photos do not do the place justice. The ocean view from the second floor balcony is out of this world; the balcony overlooking Grand Case Blvd (from one of the bedrooms) is also outstanding, especially at night when the lights of all of the restaurants are on. Jean Pierre is a joy with which to deal as is his local contact, Patricia. The apartment is impeccably maintained with marble and natural wood throughout and completely furnished. Grand Case is, by far, the best part of St. Martin; one, really has no reason to leave. We climbed Pic Paradis (from Loterie Farm) and later had dinner at Loterie's restaurant. From the lolos we had mahi-mahi and grilled red snapper for under $10. Great dinners at Spiga and La Villa (across from Catalina). One should not miss the live music at Calmos Cafe, especially if Latin Sugar is playing (view them on Youtube). We have been home one day and we are already planning our return trip. Do yourself a favor and rent this place.

apartment was as promised and truly enjoyed the location, the furnishings, the private garage, the balcony overlooking the main street in Grand Case, as well as the balcony oceanside. Having the furnished kitchen was very convenient and it was well maintained. Cleaning service people were very competent and friendly. Will hopefully come back next spring, Thanks for being there.
