  • We are two couples who travel together often and this apartment rental was a perfect alternative to a hotel. Chris arranged parking for us so we could take advantage of public transit during our stay. And while we agree with many other guests that Mary's baking is wonderful, the fresh fruit was a thoughtful and welcome addition to the kitchen as well. Thanks Chris and Mary- we had a wonderful holiday!

  • Betty and I spent our anual 2 month visit to Toronto here during July and August 2009. The apartment suited us admirably being well equipped, close to restaurants, public transport and within a good walk of "downtown". Chris and Mary are fine hosts and were most helpful to us during our stay without being intrusive. Also, Mary is a great baker and her occasional delivery of "goodies" were much appreciated.   • We had a great stay in Toronto in Chris and Mary's cozy apartment. The neighborhood is fun, with lots of shops and restaurants and not far from Kensington Market, Chinatown and other wonderful sights. We were attending the Toronto Film Festival, and we enjoyed coming back every night to the homey apartment, to discuss the films we had seen. There was ample room for two couples.Chris and Mary were very hospitable and offered useful information about Toronto. We hope to return next year for an even longer stay.Thank You Chris and Mary

  • Last year (30 June/3 July 2008) we stayed at Chris place at the start of our trip through Canada. The welcome was great and Chris/Mary were excellent host. They delicious cake was awaiting us and they gave us all the info we were looking for to explore Toronto. The location of the flat is great for visiting the city close to public transport , and so is the flat where we stayed with 5. I can only recommend this flat to everyone. (Promised Chris last year to update this guestbook and realised now how important this is for other travellers).

  • We stayed at this apartment for ten days and had a real wonderful time,the apartment is excellent and in a perfect spot for restaurants and downtown Toronto.Chris and Mary the owners are unbelievably friendly and their hints and tips made our holiday even better.Mary is also a great cook and made us a cake and biscuits when we arrived which was a nice touch as you wouldn't get this sort of service and help from a hotel,which are alot more expensive than staying in this apartment which had the same amenities.They just summed up what Canadian people for us,the most friendly nation on earth!!!We would definitely not stay anywhere else if we decide to ever return to Toronto.Thankyou very much,Ryan and family.

  • We stayed in the apartment for two weeks. Chris and Mary were wonderful hosts. They provided us with invaluable information about the things to do and see in Toronto. Location was perfect, just arround the corner from the nearest Streetcar (TTC)that takes you straight into the shops and nightlife! As we stayed during November it was chilly at night, but the apartment was always warm and welcoming. Marys baking was wonderful. The chocolates on arrival were a lovely touch. A very comfortable apartment with everything you could think of needing. Excellent value for money. We would highly recommend it. Would come back again.

  • We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was lovely! Chris and Mary made us fell at home with a lovely fruit basket, a bottle of champagne and of course some banana cake! Toronto was an exellent city and the convenience of the apartment to public transport into town made our decision not to hire a car the right one! The area was also love;y making eating out or in an absolue delight.

  • I just got back from Tononto today and I stayed 5 nights at this apartment. It's a really great cozy place, economical, and easy access to all the attractions. Chris went way out of his way to make me feel welcome and was incredibly helpful with the suggestions of places to visit and things to do. If you're planning on visiting Toronto, I really don't think you could find a better or friedlier place to stay for such a reasonble price.
