Welcome to Hahver. Our comfortable cottage is located on Bass Bay, just minutes away from Silver Bay – YMCA of the Adirondacks. Silver Bay offers a vast array of outdoor, spiritual and cultural activities as well as outstanding children's programs. Just a hundred feet from our front door is the Queen of Lakes, Lake George. Lake George is one of the few drinking water pure lakes in the Adirondacks with exceptional fishing, swimming, and boating. Should you tire of the lake, the Adirondack Park and Preserve, as well as Vermont are at your fingertips.
Furnished in Adirondack style, Hahver sleeps 6-8 comfortably. Entertain yourselves in the great room first floor with two bedrooms and a full bath. Downstairs sleeps two more with a futon for extra guests and a bath with shower. Decks on two levels, hammock, classic Adirondack Chairs, and outdoor tables provide plenty of opportunity for relaxing and al-fresco dining. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and cookware. A gas grill is available for Bar-B-Que. On chilly nights enjoy the wood-stove or roast marshmallows in the outdoor fire pit. Water toys, kayak, and rowboat are provided for lake recreation. Our dock with swim ladder will accommodate up to a nineteen-foot boat. Powerboat rentals are literally right down the road.
Silver Bay is a quiet refuge from the hectic work world. We provide games, books, stereo and TV with DVD and VCR. The kitchen is completely stocked with all pots/pans/appliances as well as dishes and cutlery. NEW for Summer 2008 - Wireless Internet will be available. Linens are furnished for the queen and four single beds, along with towels. A washer and dryer will handle limited loads of laundry. When you come plan on enjoying the stunning natural beauty, quiet, and many historic and family attractions nearby.
