Bedrooms: All six Bedrooms have Ocean views, large plasma TVs/DVD players & ceiling fans. There are two master suites (Seashells on main floor & Nautilus on the top floor). Each has 1 king, a large bath, tub, shower, walk-in closets & spectacular ocean views. . The Sand Dollar Room has two queens, bath with divided commode, large shower with skylight & a spectacular ocean view. The Reef Room has a queen + twin with trundle, large shower, walk in closet & spectacular ocean view. The recent addition includes the Nautical room which has 1 king, a tri-bunk & a bunk bed (5 twins total), a desk top/work area, a bath with tub/shower & separate room with 2 sinks, walk in closet, charging station for electronics & ocean view. The new Coral room has 2 kings; shower with 2 seats, double sinks, recharging station for electronics & ocean view. All bedrooms have private baths. (Floor plans with bed layout available). The bathrooms in the new addition feature comfort height toilets with soft close toilet seats, heaters in the ceiling along with nightlights & fans, & an Instant Hot water system so you won’t run short.
The pool is huge (& in the sun all day), the deepened hot tub seats 8-11 & of course both have an ocean view. Under the house & deck is the SeaScape living room, a covered travertine lanai with two seating areas, fans & lights: an area for shade lovers who want to sit near the pool with bar/frig. The private, fenced ocean front yard is very large (100 feet wide), with private beach access & a large lawn for badminton, croquet or bocce & a poolside patio; there is a gated deck on the back of the house, a gated sandbox area, & private beach access. There is an outdoor foot & full shower. There is a fenced sandbox area to contain toddlers, & a gate to keep them on the deck. Lots of patio furniture & umbrellas.
The custom gourmet kitchen features granite countertops, a Thermidor stove, Bosch dishwasher, large capacity Whirlpool frig & other high-end appliances including an ice machine & wine cooler. There is a kitchen eating area, bar eating area & large dining room.
There is an elevator for arrival & departure day (that can be made available week long if you have a person who needs it), a first & second floor laundry (Whirlpool's new steam washer/dryer upstairs, top Consumer reports Kenmore downstairs).
The house has safety features: security & fire-monitored system, smoke alarms in every bedroom, fire extinguishers upstairs & down. If you have a medical emergency, there is a medical alert button on the alarm system - push it for an ambulance. There is also a police & a fire button.
The Heating & Air conditioning has 4 separate climate controls, there are 3 hot water systems, & 9 fans, There is a laundry on each level upstairs features Whirlpools latest steam washer & dryer.
The Amenities:
We stock easily forgotten items for your convenience, cleaning crew leaves all paper products, cleaning products, unopened pop/soda & alcohol left by previous guest, to save you money.
We live here 3 months each year & renew the house each time; have antique heart pine floors, a beautiful modern kitchen & huge deck. The new dining room table seats 10, the bar seats 4 & there are outdoor tables poolside: plenty of places for a family reunion, an anniversary celebration or even the ideal wedding (additional fee for large events)
The electronics have been upgraded to all large flat screen TVs (10 of them) & DVD (9) players. Every bedroom, the family room & the kitchen have plasmas. There is DVR service, high-end cable, a work desk, with a wireless printer with scan & fax capability, & a shredder. The house is newly equipped with a cell phone booster antenna so unlike most ocean front homes, this one gets good cell service.
Lots of Parking: parks 7 cars comfortably, 4 of them under the house where there is also lockable storage for your bikes & beach equipment.
There is a wood-burning fireplace…this is a dream get away – I even provide a welcome bottle of champagne.
The Landscaping is premier: planned for color year round, & scent in every season.
We've worked to make this a 'quiet' house, with noise control bumpers everywhere, heavy sound insulation in new area, new sound bar to reduce TV noise transfer to bedrooms.
2011 rates are extremely competitive on a per person per night basis for an oceanfront home – far cheaper than SeaPines or Palmetto & a fun & and convenient neighborhood. Beds: 5 king, 3 queen, 6 twin, 1 trundle. It will sleep 23 in premium beds.

- Queen Bed (3) : The Sand Dollar bedroom has two queen beds with large bath, large Saturnia tile shower, separated sink from commode/shower & a skylight. Large counter tops in all baths. The Reef bedroom has one queen and a twin with trundle & also has a large shower. Both have walk in closets.
- Twin/Single Bed (7) : New Queen plus twin trundle in the 'Reef' room. The 'Nautical Room' is a family sleeping room and has new beds 1 king, 3 twins and one bunk bed set (basically 5 twins). It has a tub/shower combo, separate from the sink area. Walk in closet.

This is a very large property - and it is fenced and gated. The house is 22 feet above sea level for additional privacy, and has a safety and security system you can use if you choose. Accessible where Dune and Sanpiper ST meet, it is off to the beachside with no roads running along it.
Need a second place for the rest of the family? Look at listing #320078, a small chateau 1 block off the beach and very close to Sandpiper's Nook. 7 bedrooms, new rental - exquisite. Rents are lower here but the home is a very high end private home that is just being rented for the 2011 season. It has a theatre, game room, library, screened in elevated pool and outer kitchen, a 'beach at home' in the back, 7 bedrooms and sleeps 22.
Coligny Circle is a great shopping and restaurant area a short (1 mile) bike ride down the street or beach. There are numerous restaurants and boutiques.

Loggerhead Turtles nest on the beach on Hilton Head. last year we had a female come in right in front of the house. Watching a nest hatch is a once in a life time experience.
The pelicans fly low over the house - from the elevated deck you almost feel that you can touch them.
Dolphins swim by almost every day. You can see then from the deck or if you have brought one, from your hammock on the elevated deck.

The family, or at least a part of it. We live here part of each year, and we keep our home in pristine condition. Part of the home is painted each year, all mechanical items checked and repaired as needed. This is our home - we appreciate guests who help us keep it beautiful.
We are also very security conscious. There is a key code elevator for opening/closing day transfer (or if needed for handicapped or security reasons. We provide a credit card operated safe, have a fenced sandbox, fenced & lockable yard, and a gated lockable pool area with Virginia Graham Baker pool drains. You have lockable storage for safe golf bag, board & bike storage, there are gates to the property that can be closed, and there are motion sensor light around the entire house. U There are multiple fire extinguishers 11 smoke detectors (3 hard wired, 3 tied to security system & a state of the art security system with 1 button call for fire, police or ambulance. private lanai, private beach access. Our agent is accustomed to handling high profile renters in a very private manner

Sandpiper¹s Nook is the nicest beach house we have ever stayed at by far.The house is in perfect condition the owner really takes great care of the place. The elevator was heaven sent not just for all the luggage, then all the food/water/wine, but for my knees! The house is up on stilts so theview of the ocean is fantastic and the top floor (3rd floor) is something else. All six bedrooms had ocean views so nobody got left out. All the bathrooms have beautiful Italian marble; every one said their bed was great.Lots of hot water, huge closets easy to move into with lots of space foreveryone. Flat screen TVs and DVDs everywhere. Each bedroom has its ownŒtheme¹ and is decorated to the nines. We really prefer charcoal grillingto gas grills, and this house had both we had an oyster feast. (The localPiggly Wiggly has the best fish on the island). We love Hilton Head and we like this house over all the others we have been at.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, pet owners, sightseeing, families with young children.

There was nothing we didn't like. Sandpiper's Nook had it all: huge yard big ocean front with private beach access, fenced yard, gated decks front and back, fenced sandbox for the wee ones, outdoor living room so we could sit by the pool (the huge pool) and watch the kids, views to die for,heavenly beds, quiet street, what's not to like! Only a mile to all the shops and grocery stores, hardware and bars whatever we forgot we were quickly able to get (and the owner had a supply of toothbrushes!). Big dining room table for family dinners what a nice place. Having use of an elevator to bring in luggage and such was a true luxury! Absolutely loved how the owner has everything labeled..no guessing which light switch worked which light, no hunting for utinsils, pots and pans. Waking up to the sound of the ocean, enjoying a morning cup of coffee either in the privacy of your bedroom sitting area or on the big deck enjoying a spectacular view! Definately coming back!

As I look back on a great vacation week at the oceanfront rental at 33 Sandpiper, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, I am compelled to share our fantastic experience with you. As a frequent vacationer to Hilton Head, our family of 18 has stayed in some of the most respected areas and homes on the island. While many of the homes on the island provide excellent accomodations, it was not until we stayed at 33 Sandpiper that we realized that we had it all. From the outstanding ocean views in the great family room to the large, comfortable bedrooms to the biggest private swimming pool on the island, this beautiful home by the sea exceeded our expectations. For starters, an elevator to help move luggage into the house provided a quick setup, and with access to the pool from the driveway, we could easily unload the beach chairs and toys without having to walk a long distance. Next activity was selection of beds. When four families are involved this can sometimes be a daunting task, but at 33 Sandpiper, it was a breeze due to the large rooms and abundance of beds. The kitchen provided lots of space for storing food for the week, but nothing was more appealing than the icemaker. How many times do you have to go out for ice to keep the pop cold? Well, 33 Sandpiper has an icemaker that keeps you on the beach and out of the supermarket. While the home and its amenities were quite nice, nothing can prepare you for beginning your day on the huge deck that overlooks the pool and miles of ocean. We have been coming to the East Coast for a beach vacation most years since 1981. We have stayed in many houses over the years on many beaches. I can say, without hesitation, that 33 Sandpiper on Hilton Head is the best house we have ever stayed in and we plan on making it a permanent place to visit for many years to come! First, the location is perfect! Hilton Head is a great island and 33 Sandpiper is in a perfect location on the island. It is a mile from many places to shop and eat (Coligny Plaza included). However, it is just far enough that the beach is not overcrowded at all. As an avid biker, I have spent many mornings riding up and down the entire Hilton Head beach scouring for a great location and 33 Sandpiper cannot be beat. In addition to location, the house itself is gourgeous! It is well appointed, with meticulous attention to detail. The owner has done a perfect job turning the house into the perfect vacation home. Everything you need is in the house and the owner has spent many hours creating a handbook for all renters that has EVERYTHING you need to know about the house and the area. The bedrooms are spacious, the bathrooms all a good size and modern, and the living area is perfect - large and comfortable. And it that's not enough, the owner has created a wonderful outdoor living area, complete with a large pool and hot tub, and a simply splendid covered outdoor area, complete with ceiling fans and very comfortable seating. If you are looking for the best beach house for your family, look no further, your search is complete.

Sandpiper Nook: Epitome of Vacation Beach Houses

I had the loveliest time at Sandpiper Nook! Everything was perfect, and I couldn't have asked for anything better. The amenities prove that the owner has thought of everything. She has included a drawer full of things that a guest might forget, like razors, toothbrushes and the like. The bedrooms each have a full bath attached and have robes in the closets and each room has a beautiful view. The Nautical room has bunk beds that are great for kids and each bunk has a cable TV, so people can pick what they would like to watch without bothering others. The indoor living room has large screen TV and there are many games, cards, and puzzles in the living room to ensure that all have a wonderful time, even if a rainy day is encountered. The owner put in two state-of-the-art washer and dryers so no matter how many people stay at the house (which sleeps 23, and very comfortably!), there will always be fresh towels. The elevator also makes arrival and departure days very easy--no luggage hauling required! The entire house is very spacious, including an indoor and outdoor living area. The otudoor living area has fans that provide a welcome breeze in the hot summer days and there are very plush couches in the indoor living area. Having two living areas plus the kitchen table allow for multiple activitites to be going on simultaneously, without one disturbing the other. The house lies in great proximity to so many things, so once arrived, you do not even need a car. The pool, hot tub and ocean provide endless hours of entertainment. The beach is not even fifty feet from the property and can accomodate for all kinds of beachy fun, including sandcastle building, skimboarding, surfing, walking or biking on the beach, swimming, body boarding, and so many others. Additionally, there are shops and restaurants within a mile of the property, easily walkable or bikable. The restaurants can satisfy any craving, including Skillets for breakfast or brunch, Just Pasta for Italian, the upscale Sage Room (be sure to make reservations well in advance!), Coligny bakery for pastries, Rita's Ice for slushies and any number of ice cream shops. I can't imagine a more perfect place to stay on Hilton Head Island. Sandpiper Nook really was the epitome of all vacation homes.

The house is beautiful & very well decorated. Looks like new. Really loved the sunrise views from the house & being on the beach for morning walks, while our husbands where fishing on the beach in front of the house. It was a perfect start for the days when we didn’t play Golf. It has all the amenities you could ever dream of. So this is the place we would definitely like to come back. I would like to highlight the excellent quality of the beds, linens and towels. Everything we needed for cooking was there and almost every evening we enjoyed the barbeque and swam in this very big pool. The location is perfect for shops and restaurants – 5 to 10 minutes away. With 4 couples, the house was plenty large to let all of us be independent & have our own private spaces. The weather in October was perfect. Sunny 22-23 Celsius, low humidity. We bought a golf pass that allowed us to play in different & challenging courses, some of them with a fantastic view of the ocean. Every room had a very large plasma TV with excellent cable system. We used the free WIFI to Skype home. Our kids couldn’t’ believe the place we were. After a day of golf we would sit on the elevated porch and watch the dolphins. The view of the ocean is outstanding La casa es Linda y esta muy bien decorada. Nos encanto la vista de la salida del sol al amanecer y caminar por la playa mientras nuestros esposos pescaban al frente de la casa. Era un comenzar perfecto para los dias en que no jugamos Golf. La casa tiene todas las comodidades imaginables de manera que este es el lugar al que definitivamente quisieramos volver. Las camas, sabanas y toallas son de primera calidad. Todo lo que necesitabamos para cocinar esta ahi. En las tardes haciamos Asados a la orilla de la enorme piscina mientras algunos nadaban. La ubicacion es my Buena esta a 5-10 minutos de las tiendas y restaurants. Fuimos 4 parejas y la casa es muy amplia por lo que todos teniamos nuestra independencia. La temp. era alrededor de 23 grados con poca humedad,. Compramos un pase para jugar Golf en diferentes canchas todas muy buenas y algunas con vista maravillosa del mar. Cada dormitorio tiene un TV plasma grande con un muy buen sistema de cable. Tiene WIFI gratis y usamos skype para conectarnos con nuestros hijos, ellos no podian creer lo bonito del lugar donde estabamos. Al final del dia nos sentabamos en un Porch elevado a mirar los delfines y el mar, la vista es maravillosa.

I stayed in this home with a few of my close friends, and had so much fun! The proximity to Savannah and all the activities to do on the island were amazing. It was such a great place to get away and have fun because you when you're at the house, you feel like you're seculded in your own beachy world.

How do you spell breathtaking, SANDPIPER’S NOOK. This was our first trip to Hilton Head and we were so lucky to find such a wonderful home. This house is located just steps away from the ocean. Each bedroom is exquisitely decorated and has all the comforts one desires. In the morning, from our rocking chairs on the deck, we enjoyed watching the sun rise out of the ocean and dolphins playing in the surf. We enjoyed our private pool and hot tub at all times during the day and night. When we wanted a place out of the sun we enjoyed the outdoor living room located on the pool level under the deck. The kitchen is gorgeous, very well supplied, and has everything you need including a stunning view of the ocean. In the evening when it came time to relax we would either enjoy the rocking chairs on the deck and listen to the sounds of the ocean or migrate to the beautiful living room. We feel fortunate to have found this wonderful place on our first trip to the island and we feel certain we will be returning to this home each year.

This property is exquisite! It sits right on the beach with an unrivaled view and incredible amenities to match. The pool, hot tub and two outdoor living spaces are impeccable and inviting. We watched the dolphins go by as we sat in rocking chairs on the deck and in the hot tub. With one entire side of the house squarely facing the ocean, the light and the views are just as amazing in the house. The house itself is meticulously cared for and thoughtfully planned. We wanted for nothing as it had every conceivable "creature comfort" that made our visits such a stressfree, rejuvenating and perfect waterfront vacation. Each bedroom is impeccably and thematically decorated. The beds are extremely comfortable, the linens outstanding. The kitchen had everything we wanted--lots of little extras that are such thoughtful touches. It's got plenty of flatware, glasses, kitchen tools and gadgets to spare. The living room is spacious and airy and very comfortable. This is an extraordinary destination. In fact, we keep going back because to this jewel because it's that good. It's on a quiet little street, within walking/biking distance of Coligny Circle. If you want a luxurious oceanside destination, this is the place. Love that elevator for our luggage too! What a perk! We've been to Hilton Head a half-dozen times and Sandpiper's Nook is by far the best property around! We've been there with teenagers and senior citizens and the house, the amenities, activities, views and location delighted everyone!
