Lovely Chalet on Cliff with 2 Master Suites and Free Pontoon

The chalet sits on a wooded cliff site and the view is beautiful, no matter the season. The house has recently been decorated and luxury details are evident. All beds are "allergy free" , bed linens are luxury quality, and all beds are outfitted with "Touch of Down" pillows you see featured in the finer hotels. The large 27 ft renovated Pontoon boat, seen in picture below, is included with this rental. A hot tub is available October thru March.
There are two master suites, one on the lower level and one on the top level. There are king size beds in both suites. One suite contains a garden tub and one a jacuzzi tub. The middle level of the home contains two additional bedrooms; one with a queen bed and one with two, low to the floor, twin beds. A leather sofa in the loft also contains a pullout bed. The house accommodates a maximum of 10 people. There are four bedrooms and 3 baths.
This lakefront home is six miles from Jackson, Georgia where you can go antiquing (Ask for directions to the Green Gazebo!), bowling, golfing, and dining. It is about twelve miles from Locust Grove,Georgia and one of the best outlet malls in the south. Reasor's Landing Marina is around the corner from the house for easy access to a boat ramp.
Indian Springs is just a few minutes away. In addition to the park, Indian Springs also has a number of other attractions such as the Dauset Trails Nature Center & Indian Springs Village. The Ice Cream shop in the Village has wonderful home made fudge.
For travelers coming from out of state, this home is less than 1 hour from the Atlanta Airport and Downtown Atlanta attractions such as the Atlanta Aquarium, and 30 minutes from Atlanta Motor Speedway. If you are coming in town for the Augusta Masters, it is 1 1/2 hours from Augusta.
There are two great rooms with flat screen TVs. Wireless internet is available. Kitchen facilities are available on two levels. There is wonderful rocking chair covered porch on the upper level and a tiled patio for grilling on the lower level. Fishing polls are included. Rafts, beach towels, etc. are available during the summer.
A large covered boathouse will accommodate up to a 27 foot boat. Bring your own boat/water toys or use the newly renovated 27ft pontoon boat which comes free with the rental.
Love fishing?? Don't forget to bring your special fishing gear!! The area under the dock is one of the best fishing spots on the lake.

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home. We enjoyed our stay very much, and were so sad to leave, We could have stayed there FOREVER! Your house was truly amazing and was everything we could have dreamed of for our family vacation. This home truly deserves a 10 start rating. The beds were amazing, the house was very clean. What a beautiful home, the pictures don't come close to showing all the wonderful qualities of this home, We came for relaxation and that's what we got. The house is beautiful and well equipped. It was great to have the pontoon boat to explore the lake. Our family enjoyed fishing and playing games together. The managers were great! There were a few little problems with a weird beeping sound in the basement that couldn't be identified and the basement tub had a few issues and the air conditioner in the upstairs had a hard time cooling. Overall a great house and very attentive hosts!:)Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Our experience from booking (which this was the first time on VRBO) to leaving was wonderful. Dottie was great in helping and then Richard was terrific on making sure we had everything we needed and answering any questions. But the best was that Richard took us out on the boat and showed us all around the Lake (even to Goat's Island) and then showed my son and husband how to do the boat so they took it out for the rest of the day!!! The chalet was amazing and the view was relaxing and soothing!We will so come back and 100% recommend this wonderful place for everyone who wants to get away!!!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We chose the Chalet for our annual Labor Day getaway and hit the jackpot!! This place was truly amazing and words cannot describe the beauty of this lakehouse!! The home was equipped perfectly with more than enough supplies you may need. The furniture, beds and bedding, televisions and appliances were all top-notch!! We spent the weekend with our two year old son, eight week old baby girl,my parents and some friends from Iowa. Our only regret was we didn't stay for a week!! There is lots to do in the area...from fishing, hiking at High Falls State Park, cruising the lake with the pontoon, swimming or just simply sitting on the porch in the awesome rocking chairs watching all the activity on the lake. Thanks Richard and Dottie....hope to see you next year!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

We travelled from Cheshire in England and we were not disappointed. The whole house was amazing, the lake and the boat kept my 5 & 7 year old boys busy. My wife fell in love with the house and lake, we were shocked as to how the house exceeded our expectations! I have nothing but priase and would recommend the house to anyone who is thinking of renting on Jackson lake. Less than an hour away from Atlanta it was a holiday with all areas covered.
