The chalet sits on a wooded cliff site and the view is beautiful, no matter the season. The house has recently been decorated and luxury details are evident. All beds are "allergy free" , bed linens are luxury quality, and all beds are outfitted with "Touch of Down" pillows you see featured in the finer hotels. The large 27 ft renovated Pontoon boat, seen in picture below, is included with this rental. A hot tub is available once the weather turns cool.
There are two master suites, one on the lower level and one on the top level. There are king size beds in both suites. One suite contains a garden tub and one a jacuzzi tub. The middle level of the home contains two additional bedrooms; one with a queen bed and one with two, low to the floor, twin beds. A leather sofa in the loft also contains a pullout bed. The house accommodates a maximum of 10 people. There are four bedrooms and 3 baths.
This lakefront home is six miles from Jackson, Georgia where you can go antiquing (Ask for directions to the Green Gazebo!), bowling, golfing, and dining. It is about twelve miles from Locust Grove,Georgia and one of the best outlet malls in the south. Calloway's Restaurant and Reasor's Landing Marina are around the corner from the house for easy access to a boat ramp and good food.
Indian Springs is just a few minutes away. In addition to the park, Indian Springs also has a number of other attractions such as the Dauset Trails Nature Center & Indian Springs Village. The Ice Cream shop in the Village has wonderful home made fudge.
For travelers coming from out of state, this home is less than 1 hour from the Atlanta Airport and Downtown Atlanta attractions such as the Atlanta Aquarium, and 30 minutes from Atlanta Motor Speedway. If you are coming in town for the Augusta Masters, it is 1 1/2 hours from Augusta.
There are two great rooms with flat screen TVs. Wireless internet is available. Kitchen facilities are available on two levels. There is wonderful rocking chair covered porch on the upper level and a tiled patio for grilling on the lower level. Fishing polls are included. Rafts, beach towels, etc. are available during the summer.
A large covered boathouse will accommodate up to a 27 foot boat. Bring your own boat/water toys or use the newly renovated 27ft pontoon boat which comes free with the rental.
Love fishing?? Don't forget to bring your special fishing gear!! The area under the dock is one of the best fishing spots on the lake.
