Great pre-Christmas getaway

Our family decided that rather than sit around waiting for Santa, to get away to Moab. We found KT's beautiful house which is truly even more beautiful than the pictures. We've been to Moab many times camping but December is a bit cold for that! My mother-in-law didn't want to leave. Our children, ages 8 and 5, were absolutely delighted with the house. Who needs video games when there is a rock/crystal collection on the window sill and an exercise ball? The kitchen was wonderfully equipped for family dinners. The view of Moab rim from the entire living/dining area was stunning. Going to Moab in December was fabulous. There were only a few other people at Delicate Arch, and we had Gemini Bridges to ourselves. We hope to come again someday.

We have been to Moab many times but this was our favorite trip to date. After camping many times we decided to try a rental and found KT's house an absolute dream. We were excited when we saw the house from the outside and where amazed when we entered the inside. The house was very clean, and spacious. Fully furnished with cooking and grilling utensils also. The neighborhood is quite and peaceful with the sunsets against the Rim gorgeous. The upper level patio was one of my favorite ears to overlook the area. Six or us stayed here and had more room than we do at our house. I found the internet connection fast and efficient, so we could log our geocaching finds at night during our stay instead of the large task after we get home. We all agreed that this was a fantastic stay and the best vacation we have had in years or ever. Next year we will be back and staying longer. Thanks so much for sharing your house with us.

My wife and I stayed at the house for 8 nights and were extremely comfortable from the moment we arrived. As beautiful as the website pictures were, the house was even more lovely in reality. Both of the bedrooms were beautiful in addition to being very spacious and the connecting bathrooms could have been photographed for a magazine advertisement. We loved the loft and the neat view of the living and dining area. The deck off of the master bedroom provided a great place to watch the stars at night and the view during the day was magnificent with red rocks in any direction you chose to look. After a long day of hiking my wife and I especially appreciated being able to grill out, sit on the patio, enjoy a drink and just take in the beautiful view. The location of the house is great with Arches National Park just 10 miles away and Canyonlands less than an hour. Mesa Verde and Capitol Reef are close enough for a longer day trip if you enjoy the National Parks as much as we do. Moab offers a great deal of activities from rafting, biking and river trips to skydiving and 4x4ing depending on your level of adventuring seeking. In addition, the town has a nice selection of restaurants and shops depending on what you are in the mood for. KT was wonderfully east to work with and the house had everything we needed including wi-fi and washer / dryer. There is an eclectic selection of books for your enjoyment and a basket of information on local events and parks on the counter. We would highly recommend the house to anyone visiting the Moab area and will definitely be contacting KT the next time we are going to be in the Moab vicinity. KT, thanks for the use of your home, it allowed us to have a great Utah vacation. Ted & Pat
