My husband and I stayed at this gorgeous home with friends of ours in March 2011. We absolutely loved it. Such a great location and really lovely amenities at the home. Also, the owner Michelle greeted us with a bottle of wine and showed us how to use everything. She also gave us reco's for great wineries and restaurants. We can't wait to go back.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+.

About the owner: I am a single,46yr old from Atlanta,Ga. I lived in SF for 15 yrs before purchasing my first home in St.Helena in 20001. This is my second home that I have renovated which is my passion. I am an interior designer and owner of a catering and special event company,Invisible Chef. St.Helena is my primary residence yet I have an apt in SF to use. St. Helena is where I want to be and to retire.
Why the Owner Chose St. Helena:
I chose my home in St.Helena for it's beautiful setting on a country lane overlooking the vineyards. It is ideally located 1/4 mile from the world -class Meadowood Resort but I purchased it for the views of the vineyards. The change of the seasons is evident when you look at the vines. There are truly four distinct seasons with the vines being our barometer. It is heaven!
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Living here, I have the benefit of running amist the vines and walking Duke,my labador,at the nearby lake or in the vineyards. I also love getting on my road bike to cycle for miles on end on the Silverado Trail to Napa or Calistoga. I love the location that I am nearby restaurants and many world-class wineries. Another benefit is the glorious weather & sitting outside on the veranda entertaining friends sipping fabulous wines & eating succulent appetizers.
My company is available to cater dinner parties at my property.
