Our property is located at the end of a peninsula with beautiful tidal views of Battery Creek which is fed off Port Royal Sound coming from the Atlantic Ocean. What our guests love most, besides our southern hospitality, is the location...they feel like they are out away from everything on our scenic point of land yet they are within minutes of Parris Island Marine Corp Depot, Historic Downtown Beaufort,& so much more.
They also enjoy staying in our 1970's two story home that sits back from the road and has plenty of privacy for large family gatherings. As you walk up to the house there is a gold-fish pond, garden and on the porch is a Hot Springs hot tub that will fit up to four people. The Carolina Room (sunroom) is on the waterfront side of the house.
The master king room and a queen guest room is located upstairs with a restroom and shower. There is a full bath and queen guest room downstairs.
There are hardwood floors throughout the house. There is a wood burning fireplace in the living room that have two comfortable leather couches that are great for sleeping.
The sunroom also has a sleeper couch. The study is setup with a desk for your laptop and has room for an air mattress if needed. The kitchen is fully stocked and there are plenty of linens.
If you need other types of accommodations and/or catering, please let us know. Our family who has enjoyed this property for four generations will be available to assist in any reasonable way so that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. We hope you select our home to be your home while you visit 'Beautiful Beaufort by the Sea'.

We had 4 adults and 8 children in our group that slept comfortably! My family and friends had such an enjoyable 4 days and 3 nights in this beautiful home. We had such a great time roasting smores on the fire pit and playing horseshoes in the yard. The hot tub was relaxing and the atmosphere was exceptiional!! Chuck was a great help with things to do in the surrounding areas and was always willing and available to answer any questions that came up. Thanks for a great stay..... we will be back again in the future!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed here for our son's Graduation and could not have chosen a better home to rent! This home not only has a perfect location close to the base, the location is private, and has everything you could want or need. We LOVED our time here! Do not overpack, this home has more than enough of everything.The house was super clean,the beds are comfortable and so are the sofas in the living room.We suggest you come early as we did and enjoy the area, it's beautiful,and there are lots of things to do.The owners are awesome, and gave us tips on where to eat, things to do, and information about the area and what to expect on our visits to the base.Our new Marine truly appreciated the Marine Corps flag he was given by Chuck, and it flew from the flagpole the whole time we were there. We highly recommend this home, you will not be disappointed. The listing info is accurate,we recommend Sgt. Whites to eat , check out Beaufort's Waterfront Park,you'll love it! We loved the house, It has everything you could need and more. Lots of room for a large family. Wonderful location for graduation only 5 min away from Parris Island. You don't need to haul anything extra to take to family day, they have it. It was very neat and clean. They go above and beyond for any and all needs. We loved sitting by the fire pit at night. The kids had a great time outside. If we ever get to come back, I hope we get to stay here again. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us. Our stay atCHuck and BRenda's home was wonderful.! they could not have been more hospitable and accommodating! We found the rental to be homey clean and extremely well supplied with everything from linens, towels and, food to picnic supplies. The pool was fantastic for the children and we " older folks"enjoyed the hot tub.We would definatly recommend this to the families of any graduating marine!Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

This is by far the BEST place to stay to either unwind or enjoy the proud moments of watching your child graduate from Parris Island, USMC, like we did. Chuck and Brenda are true originals and their heart is totally into making your stay enjoyable and uncomplicated....from providing a picnic basket for Family Day at the base to providing all the kitchen condiments, bath necessities and luxuries such as a clean pool, hot tub and horse shoes by the water....awesome! Wonderful Home with beautiful sun room and beautiful yard. The four adults and five kids couldn't get enough of the swimming pool. The owner provides a saltwater pool which was great and much easier on the eyes and skin! The owner supplied us with all amenities and and appliance needs and was always available for questions. Fantastic stay!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing.

About the owner: My husband and I want to invite you to stay in our family home while you visit Beautiful Beaufort by the Sea. My late father (a Master Gunnery Sgt)purchased this home after he retired from the Marine Corp in 1977. It sits at the end of a penisula of land along a major tidal creek off the Port Royal Sound near Parris Island. It is located within 5 to 10 miles of everything Historic Beaufort has to offer. Please take time to read the comments written by other guests in our log book. Many have commented that the house (and location) is better than they thought it is was going to be....we hope you select our home to be your home and add to all the love and laughter this home holds within its walls.

Now, that our children have families of their own....We decided to open our home to other families visiting Beaufort and Parris Island.
