New Smyrna Beach is a quaint 'Old Florida' beach town, located on a barrier reef, between Ponce Inlet and Cape Canaveral Park. 'No Outlet To The Mainland' (for cars going north and south) means New Smyrna Beach is 'Less Travelled' in comparison to other beach towns.
Situated on an Indian River canal beneath a shady canopy of live oaks, this spacious, affordable, and ideally located two-story vacation home, (incl. Guest House), offers complete privacy for one or two families (in three living areas), and is just an eight minute walk to your uncrowded 'traffic free' beach.
Relax in the hot tub, swim in the pool, walk to the beach, explore the back bay, enjoy a drink at the bar, or play a game of pool; the choice is yours.
UPSTAIRS, the luxuriously large master bedroom/bath suite features a jetted tub, oversized shower, bidet, walk-in closet, and balcony. DOWNSTAIRS, a favorite gathering place for drinks, or a game of pool, is the billiard room. An 8' slate pool table is the centerpiece of this large room, that also includes a full wet-bar, stereo, TV, and VCR. Also located on the lower level are two bedrooms, a full bath, laundry room, and a private office that's perfect for your business needs. (office with internet access converts to 5th bedroom).
GUEST HOUSE: Need more space for weekend guests, kids, or grandparents? Included in the price, and a special feature of this property is the detached guesthouse. This 24'X12'cabin sleeps 3-4, has a full bath, air conditioning, TV, fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, and a deck overlooking the canal.
A fisherman's, and nature enthusiast's paradise. With a jon-boat, canoe, or kayak, (not supplied), you have access from your dock to the Indian River Lagoon, Intra-Coastal, and Atlantic Ocean. Fish for trophy reds, snook, sea-trout, etc. Dig for clams and oysters, or try crabbing and shrimping. Just down the road at Bethune Park, Manatee's feed almost year round. Slightly further is the 57.000 acre Cape Canaveral Seashore/Wildlife Preserve.
Ecological wonders abound right from your back porch in North America's most diverse estuary, (home to more than 4,000 species). As you kayak away from the dock, and the sounds of land disappear, seabirds roost, nest, and fish, in this labyrinth of meandering channels (aerial map included). The sense of remoteness, even so close to shore, evokes a feeling of serenity. Typical sightings reported by guests include: Dolphins, Great Blue Herons, Ospreys, Snowy Egrets, Pelicans, and even an occasional Otter. Kids enjoy catching blue crabs and fish right from the dock.
Walk to the beach and watch a space launch, or enjoy the 'catch of the day' at one of the many interesting restaurants nearby. There are 25 golf courses within 25 miles (4 in town), as well as several tennis courts nearby. Racing, and the 'Most Famous Beach in the World' are located in Daytona, 20 miles away.

We, 4 sisters, 3 husbands, 3 children, 1 baby and his father spent a great time in the house. It felt like home, but it was much better because of the swimmingpool, the jacuzzi, the poolbillard and the space. The house is great, wel furnitured and clean. Some of us were very happy with the wifi. It is short walk to the beach and there is enough to do in the area. The owner and the housekeeper are friendly. We came down for bike week. There were 12 of us adults, we had a great time.. Very nice location, far enough away from town but close enough to run for a bite to eat or get a few groceries.. House was laid out really nicely so everyone had privacy..Had a great time just sitting back sipping on a glass of wine while others played pool in the bar area. The back of house really private and secluded, lots of trees for privacy... Will definitly be back in the future.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway.

This rental was perfect for our family reunion. The house was well maintained and spacious with an excellent arrangement for a large group. The pool and hot tub were awesome. The pool table and bar were enjoyed by all. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. All the linens and towels you need are provided. The owner is very nice and answers all your questions. We highly recommend this rental to others.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a great time at this New Smyrna House, Very big, private house with beautiful pool in the back. Quiet town, short distance to beach, plenty of great places to see and dine at. Property meticulously maintained, nice bar with pool table downstairs and big kitchen and living room upstairs. Lots of sliding glass doors leading out to upstairs and downstairs decks and patio. This pool home rental was awesome - immaculately clean, organized, and freshly painted inside and out. The hardwood and ceramic tile floors were beautiful. But the very best was its location, right on the canal, and just around the corner from the beach. My husband and I, our two young daughters, my mother-in-law, and my brother-in-law and his girlfriend all stayed here together for a week. With bedrooms and living space on two floors, as well as a guest house, we had plenty of room and privacy. We made the short walk to the beach at least once a day (weather was perfect), used the pool and hot tub, and enjoyed the local restaurants and sights – including kayaking among the manatees – unbelievable! We are already planning to return, and would absolutely recommend this home to other potential guests.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

Plenty of room (and privacy) for everybody, and lots to do at the house. We spent hours playing pool, and sitting at the bar, swimming in the pool, fishing and catching crabs at the dock, and walking to the beach. Shopping was convenient, and there is this great little Mexican restaurant around the corner. Love this place and plan to return.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We had the best vacation here! My family stayed here along with my sister and her family. Weather was perfect, so the biggest decision was whether to cool off in the ocean - a short walk on a quiet street - or lounge by the pool! House is large and very nice, and the layout afforded privacy for both families - the guesthouse was an added bonus! We're hoping to return next year!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

The house was clean when we arrived. There was plenty of room for everybody. The location of the house was ideal. The kids fished and caught crabs from the dock. The information package was very helpful. There is a great little Mexican restaurant on the way to the beach. We rented kayaks and saw manatees, tropical birds, and dolphins. The week flew by.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

You can tell this WAS a nice house, but it hasn't been taken care of very well. It's grungy and grubby throughout. Basic deep cleaning and repair/replacement just hasn't happened here. Carpets need replaced, walls need cleaned/painted, outdoor furniture needs rust treated/replaced, the pool needs emptied and cleaned, the deck needs powerwashed, the list goes on and on.
