  Family members from far away gathered for an event in San Diego recently, and found a rental house that turned out to be a well appointed beautiful home away from home. Loaded with amenities, we wanted for nothing other than food. It afforded us a very relaxing time to visit with family members we hadn't seen in years. I would not hesitate to recommend this rental to family members and friends. In fact, my daughter who was staying at a nearby motel with her husband and two babies said that we should rent this same place next time we're in town.

  Sharon, Thanks again for your warm hospitality and the use of your darling place in Encinitas. Our group had a very special New Year's eve celebration there and felt absolutely at home. It was the perfect place and location for surfing, beach walking, shopping, eating out and shopping!

  My family of 4 came down from Granite Bay (Nor Cal) for Christmas. We really appreciated Sharon's hospitality, quick responsiveness, and great accomodations. The beds were warm and comfortable, the kitchen just the right size with everything we needed, and a garage full of bikes and games. The location is pefect as we saw two movies at the La Paloma, and spent a lot of time down town either shopping or eating at the restaurants. Walking to the beach for the evening sunset was also a highlight, and we really loved the outdoor decks. We will definitely be looking at renting this place again in the future. Donaldsons'

  Our family decided to meet in Encinitas, Ca for Christmas this year - we were traveling from the Gulf coast of Alabama and San Francisco. After careful review of several condo's in the area, I immediately selected this one after speaking with Sharon. The condo was everything we wanted for a fun, relaxing, family oriented Christmas. The rooms were very nice with comfortable beds and linens. The kitchen was well stocked with all appliances, pots & pans, etc. The location could not have been any better - close to everything we wanted to do & visit. Everything stated in the VRBO listing was accurate. Sharon was very easy to work with (even when our deposit check was lost in the mail), she was so nice to have our car washed after we had been driving for 4 days (something my husband had planned to do but she did it for us as a surprise!). Sharon even decorated for Christmas so we could be festive during our visit. We had friends visit us while there and they were also very impressed with the location and comfort of our "home away from home". Highly recommend renting.

  My husband & I had the pleasure of staying in beautifully decorated rental in May for 5 days. Not only is it so beautiful inside but it's location was AMAZING !!!! We were walking distance to all the great shops and restaurants and just steps away from the beach. The rental was over and beyond what we were expecting to get for the price. It truly was a turn key property, it was stocked with everything imaginable from cups,dishes,furniture,TV's, fax machines and even all the goodies you'd possibly need for the beach. In the garage there were bikes,toys,wet suits, boogie boards, chairs,towels and much, much,more !!! And to top it all off the homeowner Sharon was such a pleasure to work with :-) We HIGHLY recommend this place and plan on coming back for years to come !!!!!!

  This was our fourth time that we used VRBO for finding a rental, and I have to say that this was the best experience that we've had thus far. The townhouse is impeccably maintained and furnished and the owners are a joy to talk with. The townhouse is about a block off the beach with easy access to Moonlight Beach. It's also situated in the heart of Encinitas, so if you didn't want to you wouldn't even have a need to get back into your car, everything is so close! If you're looking for a nice place to stay in the Encinitas area, then this is the one!!! We had a truly enjoyable time and "will" be back!!!

  This is the second VERBO home we have spent vacation time lounging in, and again we were so pleased with our choice! The townhouse is in an ideal location, with easy beach access, and the charming downtown is closely available with great restaurants and cute shops. If you like vintage, as I do, the main street has oodles of choices! We also found many nearby areas of natural habitat to explore each day. The home is very comfy, and has all the bells and whistles for a group of multi-age vacationers to enjoy! Sharron, the owner, was enjoyable and friendly. I highly recommend this home as a great VERBO choice. In fact, we plan to book again soon!

  I stayed in this beautifully appointed home for 5 entire months when I moved to CA from the midwest. It was such a treat to be within walking distance of everything, including beach, charming downtown shops and restaurants. Sharon provided everything anyone could think of for a great vacation! Bikes, surf boards, games, beach toys; you name it, it was there! The home was immaculate, homey and comfortable. I entertained out of town guests easily and would rate this rental as my all time favorite. You won't be disappointed.

  We had a wonderful time and Sharon is great! I highly recommend renting from her. The condo was beautiful, comfortable and steps from downtown and D street beach. Great surfing spots, Swami's is less then a mile. This place have everything you'll need. All the bikes and boggie boards were in great shape and quality. She has chairs, umbrellas, beach mats, surfboards, wet suits, BBQ, games for the kids, and so on. The condo has all the cooking and bedding we needed. it has a wonderful patio and balcony that perfect for having coffee in the morning and a Beer or more in the afternoon. We will definitely be back next summer or even this winter for a surf break! One last thing, the train is in walking distance and you can take it to San Diego or north into orange county.

  My family and I had a wonderful experience staying at Sharon's rental home. It's a beautiful well kept place minutes from the beach. The town's main street is easily accessible and we did enjoy take out from the local restaurants there. The bikes, games, beach toys, books that were provided added to the fun that we all had...especially my three young kids (aged 3-11). It was a great location to visit the nearby attractions such as Legoland, Safari Park, Zoo, etc. All in all, we will recommend this rental to our family and friends and we hope to stay here or in another place of Sharon's again. Thank you Sharon for your thoughtfulness and the care you put into maintaining a high quality place for families like us to enjoy. =)
