The beach cottage we grew up with and updated for our family! Three bedrooms/2 baths with an open great room and kitchen complete with granite counters and stainless appliances.
Bikini Bottom is a great place to kick off your shoes and relax.
We are located across the street from the beach on a large lagoon-front lot in a quiet, low density part of West Beach in Gulf Shores. You'll feel totally away from it all yet you are only 10 minutes from town.
We have a large dock complete with a refrigerator:), swing for enjoying the views (amazing sunsets!), and boat slip if you want to bring a boat. Enjoy swimming or good fishing, right from the dock.
Inside, the master has a king bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed and the third has a double over double bunk. All of the bedrooms have a television. There is also a sleeper sofa.
The huge, comfy sectional couch is a perfect gathering spot for enjoying the great company or settling in for a movie or football watching. We have a wraparound deck surrounding the house. Enjoy your morning coffee with a gulf view or relax on one of the lagoon-side porches for the sunset. There is even a screened porch with a ceiling fan for those steamy summer evenings.
Come relax a while, you'll never want to leave!

We just returned from our visit to Bikini Bottom. The pictures on the web site do not do justice to this property. The house was large and comfortable. Everyone enjoyed the large sectional couch. There was plenty of room in the kitchen. The master bedroom as well as the entire home was beautifully decorated. We all enjoyed walking over to the beach everyday. We felt comfortable enough to leave our beach chairs and pavilion there every night. The dock was very large, having a frig and stereo down there was a nice touch. Usually we take a deep sea fishing trip on our Gulf Shores vacation but with the fishing at the dock we were able to skip the trip. This is a Sunday to Sunday rental which is a huge advantage not having to fight the Saturday traffic. We probably saved an about an hour of travel time coming and going to this property.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We visit Gulf Shores annually at least twice a year and this was by far our best trip yet because this house was so accomadating for everyone in my family. The house was roomy, clean, comfortable, and inviting. The kitchen was well equiped and functional. It was great for our small ones who had plenty of run around room inside and outside the home. My husband and I enjoyed fishing/boating from the peir/boathouse which offered all the accomodations needed for a fisherman/boater. As for the beach, it felt like we had our own private beach and it was nice to be able to rinse the sand off with a warm outside shower. The owner was delightful, helpful, and prompt with all my questions. This rental house was affordable and the perfect match for my family. Normally we eat out 3-5 times over a 7 day stay. However we enjoyed the home so much and our time together that we only ate away once for lunch. I highly reccomend this house for families. We will certainly rent Bikini Bottom again and reccomend it to our friends and family..

Just returned from our Spring Break in Gulfshores at Bikini Bottom and we had an awesome week. This was my family's first time to the beach and we really had a ball. The weather was nice but water not as warm as needed to really enjoy the beach.However, our enjoyment was fishing in the lake off the house and enjoying the music from the system out on the dock.Very nice addition.We spent 2 days fishing. I have 5 kids and my youngest caught the biggest fish,2 flounders.The house is very well furnished for cooking. We did all our cooking & eating at the house. It felt just like cooking at home. We are looking forward to next year.

We LOVED the house. Everything was very nice and comfortable. Huge kitchen and living area was great for entertaining us all. Appliances and furnishing were no less than perfect! Beautiful view of the lagoon and we spent many hours on the screened in back porch and on the dock. Fishing was good on the dock as well. The beach is a short walk across the street and was beautiful and clean. Only warning....watch for jelly fish. Hubby was stung really bad from sholders to knees. It got in his shorts....LOL. I would definately stay here again. All in all a wonderful trip with much to do and the house was so relaxing! A perfect get-away!!!!!!!

The house was no less than perfect. Accomodated my family perfectly. Only problem was the can opener. You desperately need a new one. A little disappointed about the check in and check out time. Late, late on the first day and early early on the last. I felt like we only had 5 days but paid for a whole week. It was very hard to leave. We will definitely re-book. Thanks, Faith Pridgen

Unfortunately there is not much we can do about the standard check-in and check-out times. It is important to have enough time for a real cleaning before your arrival and we know you don't want us to skimp on that!

We had a wonderful stay with our entire family at the Bikini Bottom. Wonderful home, GREAT location. The kids loved the Lagoon almost as much as the Ocean. Easy access to the beach as well. Hope to make it back again next year
