Wonderful Stay at "Away Sweet Away"

We just returned from a wonderful 6 day stay in "Away Sweet Away" at the Dunes of Seagrove complex in Seagove Beach, Florida. The unit was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The pictures accurately depict the beautiful decor, and lovely view of the ocean from the unit terrace. We like to eat in at breakfast and lunch when we are at the beach and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a full meal, except the food. The Dunes of Seagrove complex has a beautiful pool, hot tub, fitness room with steam and sauna, lovely maintained grounds and underground parking. The beach itself is our favorite beach in all of Florida. We really enjoyed the complimentary chairs and umbrella set up. The wifi was having problems while we were there, but the onsite managers were working to correct the issue with the provider. Registration with the owners was a breeze. On site management was courteous and responsive. We would highly recommend Away Sweet Away to friends and relatives and plan to visit again soon ourselves. Our favorite restaurants: The Red Bar, Pizza By the Sea, Smiling Fish Cafe and Coyote's for breakfast. We rented bikes for our stay and took full advantage of the walking trail/bike path that runs along 30A.

Nice Beach Stay

My wife and I decided to come down to the Destin area at the last minute. I contacted Terry Olive, the owner, and he took care of the reservation as it was within four days of our departure. The management company is on site and the check in was flawless. The beach umbrella and two chairs provided in this rental resolve many issues when travelling to this area. Free DVD rental is provided with a card and a machine similar to Redbox. The comment about the WiFi in another post, was present, but a quick call to Terry and he had a maintenance supervisor over and this problem was corrected with a new router and remained corrected through out the rest of our stay. We have visited this area over the years and enjoy it very much. The water was clear, the weather was great this particular week and the beach was sandy white. This unit overlooks the pool and from the balcony you have an excellent view of the water and the sunset. I'm sure you will enjoy this condo as we did. Plenty of shopping areas, Publix close by for your food needs and many seafood places to eat. Seaside and Watercolor are a short drive on 30A. The parking, under the condo, has a 307C spot to park in and is close to the elevator. Carts provide to get your bags up to the condo. If available in the future we would not hesitate to rent again.

My visit to the Dunes of Seagrove was great. The condo was perfect for me and my daughter and grandchildren. We felt safe, the view was great and it was only a short walk to the beach. We had everything we needed, it was very clean and the owner was very helpful. I would definately recommend this property.

Great condo in a great location! Clean, wonderful amenities on an absolutely beautiful stretch of beach. The owners were very responsive to my inquiries. The management company was helpful during check in. Would definitely stay again. The only critique was that the internet access was a bit spotty.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this condo, it was so clean & roomy. We loved that with our reservation came beach setup with two chairs & an umbrella. Made it a lot easier to get to the beach with two kids. The beach was beautiful and I have never seen the ocean so calm & clear. We really liked going into Seaside and walking around the shops. We ate at a couple of restaurants that were really good too! The owner of the condo was very helpful and responded to my requests very quick, it was such a pleasure working with them. I would definitely recommend this condo to friends & family.

This was our third visit to Dunes of Seagrove but our first visit to this unit. Everything was perfect. The owners are very prompt to reply to enquiries and very thoughtful as they had flowers for us upon our arrival as this was a special occasion we were celebrating. We enjoy staying at this complex because it is very well maintained and we really like the location. We chose this unit for several reasons, one being the complimentary beach set up. Beach set up is important for guests who fly in, as we do from Canada, and who cannot bring beach gear. In addition the free wi-fi is now an additional perk plus we enjoyed the free DVD service. This unit being on the 3rd floor and in the corner is very quiet and has a great view from the balcony. During our 2 week visit we enjoyed many breakfasts and dinners in this unit, enjoying the view from the patio table on the balcony, the use of the barbecues and the well supplied kitchen. You won't regret choosing this unit. Thank you Terry & Dianne.

Condo Perfection

This condo was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed it immensely. The pools were so good my daughter tried to get her mom and me to forget about the beach, so needless to say the pool was a big hit with her. Having our chairs and umbrellas out every morning made the stay even more delightful, and not having to put them up was icing on the cake. Thankfully, we did not have to place any maintenance calls, but I'm sure the staff is top-notch. The tenants designed and decorated the condo beautifully, and the furniture was in tip-top shape, and very supportive. The kitchen was well thought out for long term stays and the washer/dryer was more than adequate for our relatively long summer break. If you choose this particular condo I don't think you'll be disappointed, and seeing that they now have Wifi and long distance proves they are focused on the consumer experience.
