Owner's Profile

Owner Description

Year Purchased: 2004

My husband and I live in Little Rock and are building contractors. We also have a cattle farm but love spending time at the White River. We love to relax and enjoy the local music and shopping; my husband is a dominoe player and has found a group he enjoys playing with in Mt. View. The people are great! We like to take in the local high school basketball games when we can.

Why the Owner Chose Mountain View

We think the mountains are beautiful and the area just has a lot to offer. It's laid back and rustic but has shopping, shows, music and many other things to do. There are lots of festivals throughout the year as well. For us, it's far enough away for relaxing, yet not so far that we have to spend a lot of time driving.

The Unique Benefits of this Cabin

We enjoy the large space we have; when we have family and friends along, there's plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. We can sit on the back porch drinking coffee and watching the fishing boats drift by for hours. Reading in the hammock is another favorite activity.
