Fireworks Ranch was the perfect place for my husband and me to spend a quiet, romantic New Year's holiday. The location was secluded but easy to find and extremely convenient, being just a short drive away from grocery stores, the university, and downtown Flagstaff. The home is gorgeous and very well maintained, with everything you could need during winter such as electric heaters (the heating worked great but it was nice to have the extra heaters to get really cozy while watching TV), super comfy blankets, and although we didn't need them, extra coats in the coat closet! We only used the master bedroom and bath (we loved the comfortable bed and romantic bathtub with huge windows!) but noted that the space would also be perfect for a larger group, such as a group of couples or a family. We had a nice walk around the property; it seems to go on forever and would be perfect for kids to play outside all day. We loved our stay at the ranch and would definitely recommend it to friends and family; we can't wait to go back ourselves! Thank you Jim and Susan!
Owner response:Thank you for your very kind response. We are delighted you had such a great time!! We will see you again soon! Sincerely, Jim & Susan Vance

The estate was very well located and equipped to provide the perfect getaway in the cool pines situated in the thick of the forest, just two hours from the Phoenix heat. We'll be back soon, hopefully this winter to experience it under the snow.

What a spectacular home! We truly enjoyed everything about this gorgeous place...from the comfy couches to the morning coffee on the patio watching the kids ride their bikes up and down the long driveway. The smell of the pine trees...the scattered rain showers.....the hikes in the woods....all made for the best vacation we've had all year! We look foward to returning to this vacation home many more times. As an added bonus, the owners are the most organized and easy to communicate with than any other home we've rented...and we've rented many! Thanks Jim and Susan for trusting us with your mountain retreat!
Owner response:Outstanding! That is great news for us. We are delighted you had such a great vacation. It was our pleasure to be your host! Sincerely, Jim & Susan Vance

This house is beautifully appointed and set in a very private location in the forest. The kids enjoyed running around out back and we didn't have to worry about disturbing the neighbors. We hiked over the hill behind the house and saw a deer within 5 minutes...awesome!
Owner response:Thank you for your kind review. You were outstanding guests and we hope to see you again next year! Sincerely, Jim & Susan Vance

My family had a great time at Fireworks Ranch. The house and the furnishings are absolutely beautiful. Our children enjoyed exploring the acres of wooded land in the back yard. While the children played, we just relaxed and enjoyed the view on the back porch. We went to Snowbowl and did the skyride and what a fantastic view!! We also visited the Sunset Crater Volcano, Painted Desert, and the ruins at Wukoki, Nalakihu, and Lomaki Pueblos. We would love to plan another vacation to stay at Fireworks Ranch. Again, thank you for sharing your house with us, we very much enjoyed it! We stayed 8/8/09 - 8/11/09 Stacie Allan

My family and another family just returned from the most wonderful long weekend at the Fireworks Ranch. WOW! what a beautiful home and property. So close to town yet so quiet and peaceful. The kids had a great time feeding the wildlife in the backyard and playing boardgames and riding bikes. You'll want for nothing only to stay longer and plan for your next trip. We are triathletes and did some great training while we were there. Swim in Lake Mary, biked over 100 miles and ran too. We drove up to Snowbowl just a short drive away and did some hiking too. Jim and Susan thanks so much for sharing your home with us and making us feel right at home! We'll be back soon.
