AMERICAN PIE is a renovated 3 bedroom ranch with a large den and Jekyll Room just off the kitchen/dining room. The den is a great kids room for their video games and TV, while the adults are nearby in the Jekyll Room. Christmas renters commented on the fully equipped and renovated kitchen, while others were positive on the large propane grill just outside close to the open and flat back yard.
A wonderful wide beach, in all tides, is just a short walk away- across one road and 3 houses- it takes about 2-4 minutes to walk. And new in 2011 is a FREE heated pool and hot tub pass at Beachview Club, an easy 4 minute walk away. It is also convenient to the Golf and Tennis Center, the bike paths and the Historic District, in including the GA Sea Turtle Center. A favorite is the short bike ride to watch the sunset and the activity on the Inland Waterway near the Historic District and the Jekyll Island Club.

Why the Owner Chose Jekyll Island:
We first started vacationing on Jekyll Island when the kids were young with other family friends more than 25 years ago. It is a quiet, safe and fun place to relax with families. We enjoyed the golf, tennis, biking, nature trails and walks, and the historic district as restorations continued through the years. We just decided that it is where we want to spend the winter months as we get older.
