Splash in the secluded, private pool by day and soak in the hot tub at night. The beach is a quick walk down a beautiful nature trail with no streets to cross. There are no cars to watch for – only turtles and tadpoles!
Enjoy relaxing outdoor dinners viewing the ocean horizon from the upper deck. Leisurely nap in the hammock or rock on the porch swing lulled by ocean breezes on the lower deck. The separate den/game room is a perfect escape for kids to play. The nearby lake stocked with bass is ideal for fishing, nature watching and turtle feeding.
The kitchen is well-equipped and you can stay connected with WiFi connection. The house has five cable TVs with movie channels, 2 DVD players and a CD stereo. The central air conditioning is cold. Good doggies are always welcome too.
The house is ideally located for many activities: shelling and crabbing on the beach, basketball in the driveway, open spaces for catch or soccer, fishing within a few steps and tennis courts a short walk away. Putt-putt golf, bumper cars, restaurants, shopping and grocery stores are all within one mile. The renowned Wild Horses, the Currituck Lighthouse and the historic Whalehead Club are a few minutes drive away.

We have stayed in many beach houses on the E. Coast over the past 30 years and this house stands out to us because it is so family freindly. Children do not have to cross any streets to enjoy the Lake or to go to the beach. They can ride their bikes around the lake (which is very shallow around the edge) or go play tennis , or shoot hoops, go in the pool, or go crabbing in the bay, play in the surf or on the beach, or walk to shopping. We love it here!
