This renovated farmhouse is located on one and a half acres of land and surrounded by many acres of open farmland and stunning views of fields. Sunsets are spectacular and we offer intimate seating areas on the property to enjoys the views, eat your meals and just relax.
There is also a lovely front porch with seating and a cafe table available. Less than a 5 minute walk away from a stunning walk along the Connecticut River. Located on a bike path which meanders for miles through the woods and can take you into Northampton if you'd like.
The home is extremely comfortable with well appointed furnishings, lots of comfortable pillows, soft linens, down comforters, and a completely renovated contemporary bathroom. All wood floors, lots of light, lovely art and a fully equipped kitchen with top of the line cookware.
We are located just a few minutes from Northampton and Amherst-two vibrant college towns. We are also surrounded by every imaginable outdoor activity. Wonderful opportunity to enjoy nature and the outdoors while taking full advantage of premier cultural activities and everything that the 5 local colleges, University of Massachusetts, Hampshire, Amherst, Smith and Mt. Owner Description
Ted and I have lived in the Northampton area for close to 25 years. Ted is a sculptor and does fine finish carpentry. I have been a non-profit fundraiser and manager for most of my career. We love the outdoors, wonderful fresh foods, cooking, spending time with friends and family and the arts.
