Wow! This cabin is beautiful and extremely clean. Interior was roomy & bright. Cabin has a a wonderful front porch where we watched a deer roam in the yard. The pictures on the website don't fully give it justice. This was a place we looked forward to coming back to after each day's activity. The owner's attention to detail in making sure we had everything we needed made it truly like a home away from home. We wish this cabin could be planted in every town we want to visit!

I’d just like to say that staying here was a great experience and the owners are very responsive and organized. The fact that I took the time to come on here and leave this comment says a lot. Like most people, our family is very busy and we have a 6 month old and a two year old. Anyway, the cabin was so clean and beautiful. We had debated whether or not stay in a hotel and why stay in a hotel when you can have your own place with full kitchen, washer/dryer, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, living room and dining? The beds were really comfortable and the linens were really nice. We loved the towels so much that we went to JC Penney and just ordered two sets of them. They are the Linden Street Quick Dri towels, really nice. Also, our security deposit was promptly returned. This is my second time renting on VRBO. The first time, we rented a condo in FL and it took almost 3 months for the owner to return our deposit. So, I was pleasantly surprised to receive the check in the mail and I didn’t even have to ask them, how nice :) We had a great experience and I don’t think you can find anything nicer, you will not be disappointed.

We found this cabin the perfect place to stay while attending the spring race at Bristol Motor Speed Way. I am an avid runner and enjoyed the peace of running each day on the Virginia Creeper Trail and enjoying the gentle sounds of the river. This cabin was equiped with everything you need for a relaxing, peaceful and easy going get away! The owners were so gracious and easy to work with. We are booking again for August 2011. We loved it! Thanks.

This Thanksgiving was our second stay at Riverwalk! It was just as (if not more) amazing and relaxing as the first time! Our 22 month old was very comfortable (with the baby gates we brought), she loved playing out on the deck with her ball and going for walks on the trail. We again enjoyed the Abingdon Farmer's Market, Pop Ellis' Soda Shop, and the Damascas General Store! This will be our yearly vacation spot for sure!

My family stayed during the Labor Day weekend and had a wonderful time. The cabin is perfect for a family of four. It was a nice 8 1/2 mile ride up to Abingdon for lunch. Took some time to do a little fishing in the river just short walk down the drive. Don't forget to visit the Alvarado Station for a burger just a hundred or so yards away down the trail. Will be a weekend we will never forget. Can't wait to stay here again.

WHAT A TREAT!!! My husband and I just spent a quiet, relaxing and fun weekend with friends at the Riverwalk cabin. We wanted a place close to the Virginia creeper trail and this was perfect. We could hop on our bikes and take off to Damascus for ice cream or Abingdon for site seeing. We visited the winery...just down the road..and then enjoyed the local wine, as we sat and rocked on the covered porch. It was secluded, but you could sit and watch the bikers go by. The cabin was so pretty, exceptionally clean and well maintained. The owners were so friendly and great to answer all questions. We just wished we could have stayed longer...maybe next year!!!!

Talk about a dream! Even though I'd like this to be the best kept secret ever, I will tell you that the Riverwalk Cabin was fantastic. The owners' wonderful taste and sense was perfectly reflected in creating this haven. Other renters have obviously respected and treated this home as their own as they should. Thank you so much for the opportunity to spend our vacation at the Riverwalk Cabin!

This cabin is everything they advertise and more! It is so perfect for biking, fishing, running, walking, or just relaxing on the porch and watching the wildlife. We visit Abingdon often for the biking on the trail and fell in love with the location and set up of this lovely cabin. We can't wait to return!

We had a great trip with our three young kids. The cabin was well equipped for all our cooking needs and it was so very tastefully decorated. We enjoyed visiting Abingdon and 14 miles of the Creeper Trail (Green Cove to Damascus). Loved the VERY long trestle bridge on our bike ride from the cabin. The covered deck was perfect for parking our bikes. Thanks for sharing Riverwalk.

Riverwalk Cabin is a wonderful place to stay! We have 3 young boys and we were able to enjoy many of the outdoor activities we love. We played in the river, hiked, biked, and enjoyed the local communities of Abingdon and Damascus. We love our yearly camping trip but I think this vacation was even better! You just can't replace the comforts of such a beautiful home. The owners have taken care of every detail before you arrive. Would also make a great romantic getaway or a place to stay and reconnect with teenagers. Marvelous!!!
