Our home is right in the heart of the village just steps away from the Pavilion with pools, fitness facilities, tennis courts, restaurant, club house, pro shop and seasonal beach shuttle stop. This quaint village with home town America ambience is a destination vacation even if we didn’t have the Atlantic Ocean down the road!
Shoppers can scout the trendy boutiques and 3 world famous outlets in Rehoboth. Golfers will enjoy a virtual feast of courses in the area, including discounted rates at Bayside as guests of our membership. Amusement parks & Fenwick State Park, restaurants for every taste and budget, mini golf, water parks, kayaking, boating, fishing, biking, and even ice skating.
No doubt there is something for everyone and more to do than you have time to do it all! After the sun and surf, choose between active night life, historic towns or family down time. We know families love to vacation together. So we’ve included two equally luscious master suites with private baths and romantic soaking tubs. Our 5 bedroom 4 ½ bath home is designed and decorated to combine elegance with functional comfort. We can host large families, sleeping 12 in extra comfy beds, with one extra on a sleeper chair. We welcome children and include a porta-crib and booster seats. (Summary: 2K, 2Q, 2T, 2 Singles, one convertible). An open living area just off the kitchen lets everyone mingle together. The dining area seats 8, with two at the near by counter.
Elegant bedding and plush mattresses were selected after much rest-testing to wrap you in luxury in our bedroom suites coordinated to their respective baths. On the main level is our Good Morning Sunshine Suite – a bright cheery room with understated elegance. The bedding is lush –not your usual rental flair - and the king mattress so very comfortable you won’t want to go home! This master bath with double sink vanity, tiled shower, and elegant soaking tub coordinates with our décor and adds a spa-like ambience. The walk in closet in this area is where you will find the porta-crib stowed for those extra little sleepers who need naps and containment!
Our second floor accommodations are equally amazing. The small loft area overlooks the front entrance and provides a getaway space for reading. Yes, we cater to families and no one will feel second rate when families vacation together at the Grape Expectations. Our second master suite is our version of the Near East on the Eastern Shore. The Marrakech Suite provides elegance with vivid colors and a touch of the exotic, as you drift asleep in another plush king size bed. Enjoy privacy in the coordinated bath also with soaking tub and tiled shower.
Two more bedrooms on the upper level share a bath. Our Feather Room will tickle the fancy of our slightly dramatic visitors, and sports a very comfy queen size bed. Singlets or smaller “escapers” will rest well in our Theater Room overlooking the Green, where concerts and plays are celebrated. Here we’ve managed to mix a little bit of fun with a shore-like experience for visitors of all ages. Plush mattresses provide the very best in comfort to all our visitors. On the ground level you will find our Cottage Room -a fifth equally elegant bedroom with a queen size bed and coastal inspired day bed. This light and airy room has a walkout entrance to the garden patio and nearby access to a full bath with shower. All bedrooms have televisions, most have ceiling fans. All our bedroom suites are uniquely decorated with the aim to make every one feel especially welcome and comfortable. Extra guests find comfort in a daybed and sleeper chair in rec room.
Our kitchen is fully equipped to delight any chef from gourmet cooks to deserving moms wanting to take it easy. No one wants to pack their kitchen to visit our kitchen. So we’ve thoughtfully provided just about every kitchen essential you can think of to make food preparation a snap. I did say we love children – we have an eat-at table in the kitchen and supply two booster seats, one with snap-on tray for the littlest of travelers. Pint size service ware is also available.
Kids of all ages will have fun in our newly renovated lower lever recreation room. In addition to the 42 inch HDTV, on-demand service, ample of seating for viewing, game table and foosball, we’re adding a gaming table/ casino bar, soft-dart board, bumper pool/poker table and even a Wii to entertain you after hours or on rainy days. Premium digital channels Encore and Starz are ‘on tap’ is in the living room. All bedrooms have TV’s too. A white picket fence surrounds our garden patio, also accessible from the lower level where you will find outside seating for four and gas grill.
What other extras do we provide at our Grape Expectations escape to make your vacation hassle free and a pure joy? Hairdryers, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, rolling cooler to take to the beach. Of course, we have FREE wireless internet service, a full laundry and even provide linens to help to make your vacation stress-free. You’ll find a selection of videos, DVD’s and books available.
Sorry – to keep our home allergy free four- legged friends should stay at home, and smoking is strictly prohibited. Sat-to-Sat weekly rentals in high season. Optional amenities passes provides access to all village amenities and beach shuttle in season.
