This charming studio is located 50 meters away from the beach in Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro's most charming and secure neighbourhood, on tree-lined Joaquim Nabuco street.
Is exceptionally quiet and luminous.
It is on the 7th and last floor of the building, which has two elevators. The building is classic, with 24h concierge, internal TV network. Our studio is in the safest part of Rio de Janeiro.
The apartment is in excellent condition. It may sleep 2 to 3 adults comfortably (maximum 4 adults allowed), and has an area of about 400 sq. ft. The living-room has a beautiful Brazilian mahogany floor.
The bathroom and the kitchen are brand new.
About the neighbourhood:
Ipanema beach is the "hippest" and most secure beach in Rio de Janeiro today. You will be where everything is "happening" in Rio de Janeiro, in Ipanema, and only three blocks away from Copacabana famous beach. It is very rare to find such charming and well-located studios in Ipanema. You will definitely be in the perfect place to enjoy the "carioca" way of life. Grocery stores, supermarkets, restaurants, bars, banks, post office, internet cafes are around the corner. Everywhere is very close in Ipanema.

Our property is very well located, extremely quiet and with a very nive view. We used to use it for ourselves between trips overseas from 2002 to 2005.
It is fully equipped: small but functional kitchen, cable TV, nice bathroom, AC.
It is very spatious for a studio.

Head out of the building and turn left: in a couple of blocks you're on Ipanema. Turn right, and within three or four it's Copacabana. Amazing location! Also good for Ipanema's gay life, which is an easy and relatively safe walk away. And you don't have to leave the flat to see the sea. Furnishings basic yet adequate, as was the kitchenette, and all spotlessly clean. Recommended.
Recommended for:Age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car.

We stayed for 3 days, wished we could have stayed longer. 3 min walk to the beach or to Fasano and Astor which are some of the best and hip places to be and to be seen in town. It is tucked away enough that it feels like u need a journey through the city to get somewhere, yet it still feels close. We loved the mattress, comfy. Easy to clean floors. Feels like a hotel room, yet it is an apt. A+++

We stayed in Ana's studio in Ipanema and had a fantastic time. The apartment was wonderful, exactly as described. The proximity to Ipanema beach, Copacabana beach, and everything in the vicinity was great; we could walk to everything. Ana was great, the doormen were nice and extraordinarily helpful, we will definitely contact Ana again when we return to Rio.

I stayed in Rio de Janeiro for 3 weeks at this fantastic apartment in August 2008. The location of the apartment is unbeatable mainly because of its proximity to the beach, dining, shopping and nightlife. I personally think that it is located in the safest area of Rio's south zone. The apartment is clean, spacious and nicely renovated with a bit of an ocean view. Ana Carolina herself is extremely kind and accommodating. I highly recommend this studio!

I loved staying in your lovely modern and well-situated apartment! It's so airy and bright and well-maintained.. I felt really safe with the friendly and helpful 24-hour doorman watching the building and the location just between Ipanema, Arpoador and Copacabana was so convenient. It's easy to navigate the area too.. There is a supermarket close by as well. Thanks for lending me the cell phone with SIM card while I was in Rio, too! I appreciate your overall professionalism and especially in regardst to checking in and out of the apartment. I had never arranged an apartment rental in another country from my own through vrbo before and it went very smoothly! It was so nice to meet you and I do love Rio! I can't wait to come back soon!
