Enjoy the 880 acres of Turtle Bay Resort while living in luxury. Our beautiful villa perfectly compliments the beauty of our natural surroundings. Earth tones and Hawaiian ambiance surround you while you relax and unwind at this beautiful North Shore hideaway. Everything in our home is of the highest quality and we have all the amenities you will need.
The property borders a large wild bird sanctuary, making it common to see exotic and rare birds, including wild parrots. Turtle Bay beach and other hidden beaches are just a 3 minute walk across the golf course. There are 2 pools, 2 tennis courts, and lots of picnic and barbecue spots.
Turtle Bay is the perfect kid friendly beach for swimming and snorkeling all year round, even when the waves are huge here on the North Shore. A favorite for many is to watch the sunset at the resort, with a fun surf break to the left. Enjoy a cocktail and pu- pu's while watching surfers catch perfect waves as the sun sets. This is a true Hawaiian experience in every way.
We also have miles of hiking trails, horseback riding, scooter/bike rentals, helicopter rides, kayaking, surf lessons, tide pools, fruit stands, shrimp farms, surf competitions at Banzai Pipeline, and seven miles of the worlds best surfing beaches. Paradise awaits, Aloha.

The condo unit was very nice for the price. A very quiet area and private. We opted to drive (rental car needed for the area) to the beach and park in the parking lot of Turtle Bay resort so we didn't have to carry all of our beach gear. The North Shore was definitely a great choice since it's a quieter section of the island, compared to Waikiki right in the city. The condo was clean and it was nice to have a screened in porch. We felt safe with the doors open at night. We were grateful for all the necessary beach items that were in the condo (cooler, beach mats, towels) however, we were disappointed with the snorkel gear. The masks did not fit tightly so they were useless. The owner gave very detailed information for check-in and directions to the property. The pool was great! Not crowded and great temperature. The bed was comfy. I would recommend this property to a friend because of the value... you won't be getting a five star luxury unit, but it suited our needs nicely.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. We didn't have all the problems that apparently everyone else had with getting into the parking. We pulled in super late at night, and was stopped by the security guard. He gave us our parking permit and we were fine. Our only issue was resolved with a prompt apology and refund of our cleaning deposit (our sheets were dirty when we arrived. We simply had to exchange them with the clean spare sheets from the closet). The owner promised that she would inform her cleaning ladies. We are so glad we stayed in a place near the north shore. It's a good deal, and we were barely in the condo since we were at the beach/touring all day - so we didn't have to spend a fortune to stay at turtle bay resort (which is literally up the street). We'd recommend the stay, and would definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Let's start by saying, I found this condo on this site because it was available for the dates I needed and the price was reasonable. I really wasn't expecting much. To say I was pleased with it would be an understatement. I did read prior reviews but the pessimist in me still had doubts. I can give the same glowing review as the others but that would mean more people would want to stay there which would limit availability. I guess that's just me not wanting to share but if your vacation plans fit available dates then I would definatly recommend you looking into booking this gem of a villa.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

What a delightful condo! Driving from HNL International, the resort was easily found. Lisa's instructions to access the condo were easy. However, in order to access the parking area, you need to park your car. There is no parking located outside of the condo parking lot. I drove around while my husband accessed the gate transponder to allow me to drive in. I recommend 2 people for the task; otherwise you need to park down the street. The condo was exactly as described. The furniture and décor added to the feeling of being in Hawaii! The condo provides everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The condo is very clean and well-maintained. The kitchen contains everything you need to prepare food. Since Lisa has anticipated that you will go to the local Grocery Store (Foodland), she has provided the discount member card on the key fob. The bathroom, although there is no tub, is beautifully decorated with wall-to-wall slate tiles. The rain shower with 2 heads and open slate shower stall felt like showering outside with trade winds blowing through. The bedroom was very spacious and the bed was quite comfortable. There are large flat-screen TVs in the living room and bedroom. We left the sliding glass doors open on each end which allowed cool, refreshing trade winds to blow through. It was very comfortable as there was never a need for the air conditioner. Everything needed for a day at the beach is provided. Towels, snorkels, mini cooler, beach chairs; it’s all there. There’s no need to bring chairs as the beach at the resort has lounge chairs to use. Though the beach is just a 5 minute walk away, we drove since we did not want to carry everything. There are plenty of beaches within minutes. The resort beach at Turtle Bay is beautiful. We recommend Waimea Beach and Waimea Valley opposite the park where you can hike to a waterfall and swim. The Polynesian Cultural Center is a must-do if this is your first time. There are lovely restaurants at the resort hotel which you can walk to in 5-7 minutes. We enjoyed karaoke at The Surfer, fine dining at 21 Degrees North, and cocktails at The Lobby Bar and Ola’s on the Beach. As for local fare around the area, we highly recommend Ted’s Bakery 3 miles away for an awesome breakfast to enjoy outside or take back to the condo. Also, skip Giovanni’s Shrimp Truck and stop before at Famous Kahuku Shrimp Truck, highly recommended! We will be back!! Thanks Lisa for a wonderful stay!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We found this unit to be everything the pictures portrayed and more. It was very clean and perfect for a couple that is familiar with the area. We have been to the north shore many times and rented condos in this development on each occasion and this has proved to be the nicest. We look forward to staying here again soon!!!! Thank you!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.

I tried really hard to love this unit, however the cons triumphed. Before I go into detail, the owner, Lisa, was very gracious, helpful and prompt every step of the way- I am very much grateful for that. The condo is eye-catching. The decor is beautiful and the slate floor and shower gives it that extra pizzazz. However, the unit is not 'intuitive' and as each day passed served to be more and more impractical. Having said that, these are my pros and cons in my opinion, beginning with the latter. Cons: Nothing is provided (just hair dryer and linens). Bring everything you need, guaranteed it will not be provided- not even a starter cup of coffee grounds (we left ours for the weary traveller behind us). There is no welcome book or binder that gives the occupant ideas on what to do, points of interest to check out, dining establishments- you are completely on your own Internet and digital cable is intermittent Bathroom is awkward: toilet paper roll inconveniently placed, the shower faucet is placed where initial cold showers are unavoidable when you turn the shower on, there are not enough towel hooks, the only 'window' is a vent that cannot close and leads into the bedroom so your partner can hear EVERYTHING digestive....(no privacy) Tennis equipment in bad shape- needs to be re-gripped Hard, cold slate floors, bedroom rug not much better Very, very dark, in the daytime and moreso at night. Light bulbs shining in wrong places, no dimmer in bedroom, couple of switches didn't work PROS: Darkness is perfect for migraine sufferers or for those who need the darkness to fall asleep Bed is very plush There is a DVR - you can record shows Enclosed patio off of the bedroom is relaxing- overlooks the golf course Pool is naturally warm (not heated but coated with dark tile, vert absorbent) Quiet and peaceful pathways to take a stroll Unit is cool and airy Like I said, I really wanted to like my stay but was disheartened. For my family and our particular needs, it wasn't a good match, but we made the most of it. This is definitely not a unit for any couple with infant children or any child for that matter (although I really do appreciate the accommodations that were made). This unit is solely for honeymooners, writers/journalists, and retired couples- all who surface and venture out from time to time for take-out. It reinforces what I've always considered luxury to be... it's the little things you don't have to bring with you from home, conveniently there, waiting.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

My husband and I stayed at this lovely condo on the North Shore and really enjoyed it. The Turtle Bay property has fabulous walking trails that skirt the golf course and beaches. The entire site is very well maintained. The condo itself is very colorful and tastefully decorated. The furniture is comfortable, the condo was very clean, we enjoyed the two patios at the front and rear, and the kitchen is well done. We loved the beach chairs & cooler to take to the beaches & watch the big wave surfers. Overall a great experience at a reasonable cost & I would recommend this condo to others.Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

We came to the Northshore after staying a week in Waikiki. We had just gotten married, and It was nice to get away from the hussle and bussle of the tourist activities. Lisa and Mayumi (owner and on-site contact) made the arrival and departure very easy. The condo was clean, comfortable and very nice on the inside. It was also well-stocked with any beach toys and towels you may need. The location was great as we were very close to the Turtle Bay Resort and Northshore Pipeline. Turtle Bay has a couple great places to dine or simply relax on the beach with only a handful of other guests. Dozens of Shrimp trucks are nearby the resort too, and are a must-stop (I did 3 times). Overall, great stay and we will return on our next vacation. Thank you!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We loved our stay in this beautiful quiet condo. Check in was a breeze and we had everything we needed right there. It was so nice to have a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. The beach at Turtle Bay was just a short walk away and the golf course was peaceful. We experienced some of the most beautiful sunsets and enjoyed watching the surfers. I would highly recommend this condo to couples who want to get away from it all.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.
