A Great Vacation
A Great Vacation
We (a group of seven persons, all 55+ years old) had a great week in Siesta Key, and the accommodations played no small part in the vacation. The house was very true to the pictures and descriptions available on the internet. The location was excellent (neighborhood was nice, beach was close, village was handy). The house provided our group wonderful space to gather together and/or spread out to read or work or whatever. Our week afforded us an opportunity to use the heat and also the a/c, and both worked well to provide a comfortable environment. The pool and hot tub were very nice, and the lanai was spacious. The deck from the main floor of the house, one story above the pool and inside the lanai, was a great place to read with pleasant fountain sounds in the background and no bugs to annoy the reader. The kitchen was big and bright and very serviceable, and the home was very clean. We were all very pleased with this house. Kim, the Owner, was very helpful; and I would recommend this property to other vacationers.

Our family vacationed here recently and absolutely loved the place!! It was very clean with lots of space for us! Our favorite part was the pool......we spent lots of time there! Loved it!! We were sad to leave. It is very close to the village and the shuttle service came there to pick us up a few times! The owners were great to work with! Would love to stay here again!!

Everything You Need Except The Beach!
Everything You Need Except The Beach!
We booked this property for a week long stay. What a GREAT place! First off, the location is ideal. You are a short walk from the beach (10 minutes max) as well as the village area. Since it's on a separate island (within an island!), it's very quiet. I like to run in the morning and had no problems making my way around the surrounding streets without ever having to worry about vehicles. The rooms are large - there were 7 of us staying here and we never felt cramped. Each bedroom having their own bathroom is a bonus! The kitchen is very modern and the grill on the second deck is VERY handy whole not being in the way. The pool is gorgeous and the fact that the entire area is screened in is a huge asset. We never had an issue with bugs or even rain for that matter. LOVED the dock area and outdoor tiki bar! For a mid-sized group, this would be an IDEAL place to stay. There some GREAT restaurants in the village area (The Old Salty Dog is GREAT!). If visiting again, we will most definitely look at this property again.

A spacious, comfortable and tastefully furnished house in a great location. The house is obviously well cared for and great for families staying on Siesta Key, everything we needed was available and lots of little extras provided. Even at a leisurely pace with young children we could walk to the beach comfortably in less than 10 minutes, but we did use the car to go to the Village for breakfast at the Village Cafe or dinner at The Hub (both recommended) We all enjoyed the pool and spa and hope to return someday. This house was was really great. We have rented many houses in Fl and this was truly one of the nicest we have stayed in. The house was immaculate and had every amenity we could have wanted. Really did not leave the pool area much. It was a little far to the beach to walk, but we hopped in the car and was there in less than 5 minutes to watch the beautiful sunsets. I would recommend this rental property to anyone, couples getaway or families with children.

Owner response: Thanks. Glad you enjoyed yourself. Not sure what way you went to the beach. You should be able to walk there in about 8 min. Maybe I need to give better directions. Thank you for your nice words. Kim
Very nice home with a great location! Close enough to all the activities Siesta Key has to offer but far enough away to accommodate a family with small children.
