I had a party of eight fellows for a three day ski weekend in the lodge. We had a great time. The lodge was a nice place to hang out with a big living room complete with open fire and a separate, large kitchen/dining room. The location is very convenient for MRG and Sugarbush and was good value. I got lots of points for organizing.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

I rented this house with a group of 8 friends for a ski weekend at Sugarbush. The house and location went FAR beyond our expectations! The house is roomy yet cozy and has a great atmosphere (and selection of games and books on skiing and ski mountaineering!). We especially enjoyed sitting around the fireplace after skiing and checking out the owner's art around the house. The proximity to the mountain is unbeatable, especially considering that it feels so private. The appliances were up to date and in perfect condition, it was very clean and well kept, and you can tell that the owners have lovingly decorated and cared for the house. It was great for a group of friends (couples included) and would also work wonderfully for a family or even two families. Two weeks later, we're all still talking about our weekend -- the snow at Sugarbush and Mt Ellen was certainly the best we've skied all season, the house was perfect and affordable, and a great time was had by all. We would certainly recommend this house to anyone, and hope to come back again in the future! Thanks for the wonderful stay!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We spent three nights here, and loved it. It's in a great, quiet location that's off the beaten path, and minutes to Sugarbush Resort. It's a lot bigger than it looks. You can come here with a group of people and have complete privacy if need be. The rooms are a good size and spread apart, and there are numerous amenities at your disposal. We spent a lot of time cooking in the kitchen and relaxing in front of the fireplace, it's very cozy and comfortable. It's a perfect place to return to after a long day of skiing. If you're looking for a modern ski condo, this is not the place. It's definitely an older design with a lot of character, and that's just what we were looking for.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners, adventure seekers.
