My fiancé and I rented Beetlebung for a week last May and LOVED it! It was my fiancé's first trip to my beloved Chilmark and Martha's Vineyard so I wanted to create the perfect island experience for us, and I couldn't have been happier. The cottage is incredibly clean and modern, nice hardwood floors, freshly painted walls, no allergies (I am incredibly sensitive!), and a great amount of space. We didn't even use the second bedroom, but are thinking of visiting again this fall with another couple. We LOVED taking a morning run on Middle Rd. There are farms with local produce a 5 minute walk towards West Tisbury with fresh milk as well, and then if you jog towards Beetlebung (center of Chilmark) you have an AMAZING view of the beach and farm in front of you. It is breath-taking, and there is almost always a photographer or painter set up capturing the site. We highly recommend, making reservations at the Chilmark Tavern (byob!) Although, they also make specialty cocktails if you bring the liquor, and of course taking a bike ride to Menemsha for sunset and Larsen's fish market. We didn't need the beach pass, but would definitely recommend getting one if you come in the summer, they are impossible to come by without a Chilmark rental and Lucy Vincent is a must! Overall, we just had the most romantic early summer, late spring week and were so happy with our magic find!!
