There are a private elevated walkway to the wide beach, unscreened front and rear porches, and parking for at least 6 cars. There are one family room, an indoor laundry room downstairs, two large refrigerators, nine TVs with three DVD players. Ocean Mist is 2.7 mile SW of the Garden City pier.

The beach is 20 feet right out the backdoor. My wife's family has been vacationing here for 30 years. Garden City is close to Myrtle Beach and Charleston.

The pictures on the web do not give this place justice, it's just big and beautiful, with a panoramic view of the ocean from the family room upstairs. Lots of room to groove, incredible back porch SO close to the ocean, and the waves at high tide will cool your toes at the last step of the private walkway. Close enough to the ocean to lull you to sleep, with great fishing in the ocean and inlet. Peacefully away from the crowded tourist area, yet close enough to enjoy it. David and Ilene were warm and welcoming hosts, and we felt right at home.

My extended family and I enjoyed the great beach views and inlet harbor views from Ocean Mist. The large pool and spa were great. The new kitchen was awesome. The house and property are clean and well maintained. I heartily recommend this to everyone.

We had a fanatastic time at Ocean Mist, swimming, fishing and surfing all week long.Marlin Quay Marina is 1 mile north. Michelle the inspector is funny and helpful. The 3 new AC units worked all week long.

Our family had a wonderful summer 2011 vacation here. The view is incredible. Being so close to the ocean felt like heaven. We just had to plan our beach time around high tide. We also LOVED the big dining table so that everyone could eat dinner together. The swimming pool was the icing on the cake and was perfect for anytime of day from early morning to late in the evening. Great Week. Our family thanks you. Your house is great.

We had a great time with our extended family. The 3 new AC units worked perfectly during our stay. Michelle was wonderful to speak with and answered our questions. The house is roomy, and so is the pool. We liked being close to the "point". The listing description of the house ia accurate. I would heartily recommend Ocean Mist to anyone.

This is the perfect beach house if you have teenagers. It was almost as if they had there own apartment downstairs. The house was well maintained and the large pool was a wonderful feature. The best feature was the back deck that overlooked the ocean, what a view.

My family stayed at Ocean Spray in mid October. This house is wonderful and the views of the beach and Inlet are spectacular. We really enjoyed having seperate levels, the kids had their space and we had ours ! The private pool is great. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Would reccomend it to anyone. We will defintely be back . Thanks for an amazing relaxing stay.

This is a great place to stay! The house lived up to its description, was clean and well maintained. The location is great because it is away from the busy crowded areas of Myrtle Beach. We loved everything about it. We contacted the owner about a few concerns and they were resolved quickly and efficiently. We would definitely recommend the pool heat in April as the ocean was still quite cold for swimming. This house was a wonderful place to relax with our family. There is nothing like being able to just walk down a few steps to the beach from a house as nice as this. The beach was clean and we had lots of fun looking for shells. We would highly recommend it and would love to go back.

This was our second stay at the Ocean Mist and just as with the first time it was completely awesome. David and Eileen go out of their way to make sure things are perfect at the house. My family and friends and I usually rent the place for the Spring and Fall Bike Rally's and unless you left the house you would never know the rally's were going on. This is also a prime location to get to many restaurants and bars and it prevents us from having to even enter Myrtle Beach city limits which we avoid like the plague now. Highly recommended!
