Stay in Rio for Less Apt 301

  Copacabana is a fun place, its a busy city and two blocks away is a beautiful beach. The apartment photos are accurate except for the couch and chair which are covered in red furniture coverings. We had a back-flow problem when the upstairs apartment washed clothes; drainage was backing in thru the drains in the laundry room. I understand older buildings sometimes have issues. What I did not like is the owners response. I got a rude, sarcastic email from him claiming I wasn't doing enough to solve the problem and demanding that I drop all my plans to tend to his apartment. All along the maintenance workers at the apartment were working on the issues and eventually the problem was resolved. However, nothing like a nasty email to ruin a least one day of our vacation.

  I stayed in this apartment for almost a month from Dec 2nd until Dec 28th, 2012. Very clean, comfortable and very well equipped. No surprises. The pictures and the video are very accurate. It is located in Posto 3 (same posto for Copacabana Palace Hotel). For you, this means more police around. It's safe and this posto is at the cleanest part of the Copacabana beach. If you are gluten free or like to buy Organic and local products, there is an Organic place where they sell health foods and gluten free products almost beside the property. They have some organic produce as well, so your health will not suffer even though you are on vacation. There is also a small grocery store where you can have your fresh produce of the day right beside the property. There's a gym very close to the place, 1-minute walk. The owner is absolutely a sweetheart and made sure everything was ok and always asked if I needed anything. The property manager is very sincere and quick, as we had a leak, and he was at the property in 30 minutes to check on the issue. I will always ask them if they have this property available on all of my future visits to Rio. This is my home away from home and it could be yours, too!

  I had a great vacation. The apartment is beautiful and comfortable. The location is excellent. There is shopping and transportation including the subway nearby. The apartment has hard wood floors fresh colorful paint airconditioning and a flat screen TV. Washing machine and the kitchen appliances are easy to use. The location is just two short blocks from the beach. I will be returning to Rio de janeiro and my first step will be checking this apartments avialability. The owner is very nice and responds quickly to your questions. I have absolutely nothing negative to report. I will be back. Mervin Person

  The apartment is located in a very convenient location. Two blocks away from the famous Copacabana beach. Metro are close by too. The apartment are clean and nicely furnished. James the owner was always quick in responding my questions and concerns. Next time I am in town I will definitely stay here again.

  A perfect place for a single traveler or a couple (there is a second "bedroom" but it is more like a maid quarters). The place is exactly as described and the photos match. The main advantage is the location - only two blocks from Copacabana in a surprisingly safe neighborhood (I read warnings about Copacabana before my trip but I felt completely safe walking around even after midnight - lots of people still around enjoying a late night drink). Several decent restaurants close by (I really liked Carretao), a supermarket only few blocks away. And the owner was a real pleasure to deal with - very responsive, all payment were arranged through VRBO using a credit card, my deposit was returned within few days without a hassle and I was allowed an early check-in. If I ever return to Rio, I would definitely try to rent this place again.

  I was pleasantly surprised by both the amenities in my rental apartment as well as the courteous, professional service from the owner, property manager, and the doorman. Whenever I had a question, they responded quickly to inform or resolve the situation. The main benefit of this apartment is the location, two blocks from Copacabana Beach, one of the world's finest. There are plenty of places to eat well within walking distance and the building is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Other amenities include a good-sized flat-screen TV in the living room, with cable channels in both English and Portuguese. There is another TV in the bedroom, as well as an A/C unit. The full-service kitchen and half bathroom also come in handy for couples staying in the apartment. The next time I'm in Rio, I will stay in this apartment again.

  La ubicación es inmejorable, cerca de la playa de Copacabana y en un barrio muy tranquilo y seguro, tal como se indica en el anuncio. Las fotos del anuncio reflejan exactamente como es el apartamento. El dueño del apartamento es muy amable y respondió a todas mis preguntas con celeridad y resolviendo todas mis dudas, le doy las gracias por su amabilidad. El apartamento estaba muy limpio y bien cuidado con todo lo necesario para tener una buena estancia en el. Recomendaría a mi mejor amigo alojarse en este apartamento. En los alrededores del apartamento hay supermercados, restaurantes y bares y también esta cerca del metro y de muchas paradas de autobuses para poder visitar cualquier lugar de la ciudad. Si vuelvo a visitar Rio reservaré de nuevo este apartamento.

  I recently rented this apt and it was as advertised. It was very clean, well put together. All the amenities that you would be used to having in your own place are in this apartment. Very close to the beach. Only 2 blocks away. Quiet street. Bars, botequims, restaurants on the street and within walking distance. The apartment is definitely worth the price asked. When the owner tells you that he puts his customers first, BELIEVE IT! Why? Well, I missed my flight back to the US and could not get another flight out until 3 days later. There were no hotels available in Rio at such short notice. I called the owner about 10pm that night and asked if the apartment was available. His Rio apt manager told me that it was but only for 1 night because he was having the floors re-finished. I decided to take the apt for the one night and would figure the rest out later. But when I arrived at the hotel, his apt manager told me that the owner decided to postpone the floor work and rent the apt to me for the entire three days! That is what "taking care of my clients" really means. Thank you so much! I am a client forever.

  " 301 is the nicest place, that I have stayed in Brazil. The neighborhood is good, and I have paid more money for less. 301 has a large HD television, and two small televisions in each bedroom. It has a DVD and CD player with a full kitchen. I have not gotten all of this at any other place in Brazil. ” (Levert)

  I just wanted to say we had a wonderful stay at apartment 301! It was exactly as described and the location was great! Lots of nearby restaurants, close to the subway/bus stops, and very easy to catch a cab right outside the apartment! Not to mention it is only a short 4 minute walk, if that, to the beach! Rio was great and we never felt unsafe near your apartment or the surrounding area. Also your apartment manager John was very helpful and rented us a phone for use during our stay! We look forward to a return visit and hopefully we can stay at apt. 301 again! Fell free to use this for your site!
