Welcome to the 'GREAT ELK LODGE'. This Home is one of the TOP 'true' LAKEFRONT homes located on the shores of Table Rock Lake. It just doesn't get any better than this!
At the Great Elk Lodge you will find peace, quality, fun, relaxation and one of the best views of Table rock lake anywhere! This home is conveniently located on FIVE very private and secluded acres with over 600 Ft of Private shoreline! The walk to the shore line is a 4% grade, which is the most gentle slope you can possibly find and is 100ft walk or 30 seconds to the lake. Table Rock Lake is in full view of our home from every room in the back of the house. This is what being on Table Rock Lake is all about!!
When you enter the home through the two massive oak front entry doors you will be impressed the moment you walk in. With the 30 ft tall toungue and groove ceilings, custom made curved log and pine staircase, solid 12' architechural beams and the massive floor to ceiling ledgestone stack fireplace with a 6x6 Elk head adorning the Great room you are sure to be amazed.
Outside the home facing table rock lake you will find approx. 4000 sq feet of composite decking and smooth cedar railings with a private 20x40 pool with slide centrally placed for great viewing. There is a private Hot Springs hot tub located just steps from the pool with great views of the lake. There are 4 outdoor tables, plenty of lounge chairs, pool toys, outdoor speaker entertainment system a professional BBQ grill and more. There is also a huge 16x30 ft screened in porch with tounge and groove 20 ft ceilings furnished with cushioned sofas and ottoman, two ceiling fans, a 6 place seating dining table and a outdoor speaker entertainment system.
Inside the home you will find Six beautifully appointed bedrooms. Three master bedrooms with Tiled showers and glass doors. The main master bedroom features a King size reclaimed solid oak bed complimented with matching reclaimed dressers and furniture. Also in the main master you will find tongue and grove ceilings, 12' beams throughout, gorgeous stack stone fireplace with a wood mantle, glass sliding doors that walk out to the veranda to view table rock lake, a solid wood office desk, a 50' flat panel TV and a full side pull out futon for additional sleeping. The Main master bathroom is adorned with Old hickory wood and amber mica vanity lights, a jetted bathtub, a huge full tiled luxury shower with wood ceilings, private toilet area and a closet big enough to make a bedroom out of it.
The upstairs second master is equally as beautiful but a little more cozy. It features a queen size bed with luxury bedding and comforter, Catus worm wood matching furniture, a recliner and small fireplace, a sliding door to view the pool and overlook Table Rock Lake and tongue and groove walls. The 2nd master has a beautiful bathroom vanity with antique rustic mirror, copper sink with vessel faucet, a full tiled luxury shower with a private toilet area and good sized closet.
Upstairs you will find the Two master bedrooms and two more cozy and comfortable guest rooms. The other two guest rooms have quality solid wood furniture and tongue and groove walls throughout. The guest rooms are furnished with queen size beds and ample sized closets. There is also another guest bathroom located between the two additional guest rooms. This full bathroom features a sunken copper sink recessed in a custom made shirestone vanity top, a vessel faucet, and a distressed birch wood vanity light with matching accessories throughout.
The Downstairs bedrooms consist first of the large 'Bunk room' which sleeps six kids comfortably. The bunk room has two matching bunk beds and a full size pull out futon. There is also a full luxury bath with two copper sinks, a large corner jetted tub and a full tiled shower. Close to the bunk room is a separate guest bedroom wiith luxury bedding and solid wood funiture.
The kitchen is the focal point of the home and is absolutely stunning. The kitchen has views of the dining room, upstairs loft walk, great room, formal living room, custom log staircase, breakfast area and has incredible views of the pool which overlooks beautiful Table Rock Lake. The kitchen is equipped with professional stainless steel applicances, a copper full size farm sink, shirestone countertops, raised bar with three reclaimed wood bar stools and a real antique custom made wagon wheel chandelier. There is also a center island so you can be better prepared to make those great family meals. The open dining room is furnished with a large reclaimed wood dining table with eight leather chairs, a old hickory dining chandelier and has views of the pool, lake and property.
The Great Room is sunken down about 6 inches to help distinguish it from the rest of the home. It has a six foot tall antler chandelier, 30 ft tall tongue and groove cathedral ceilings, exposed beams, a floor to ceiling stacked stone real wood burning fireplace, a flat panel TV resting above the solid wood mantle. floor to ceiling wall of windows that captures incredible views of Table Rock Lake, a solid wood slab custom made hearth, two comfortable leather sofas and two reclining chairs.
There are three indoor living areas and one outdoor screened in porch living area. Next to the casual living room is the absolutely stunning theater room. Here you will find seating for 8 people in a cozy, rustic and quiet atmosphere. There is barreled tongue and groove ceilings and a custom made entertainment center to display the huge 65' LCD TV featured with dolby surround.
There are many things to keep you entertained on the grounds such as the 150ft Zip line course, the tree swing, horse shoes, volleyball net, rope hammock, playing football, soccer, frisbee, watching the many deer that come to feed in the mornings or just relax on the Dock

My family and I just wanted to say WE HAD A BLAST staying at the Great Elk Lodge the 17th, 18th, and 19th of August. The house was gorgeous and accommodated our entire family extreemly well. We had to look for each other a few times. The only problem we had was our vacation just wasn't long enough. We called Steve about a few things we couldn't figure out and he was very helpful and offered to come and show us but we figured them out with his explanations over the phone. The weather was a little cooler than we expected and per our request the day before we traveled ther he got the pool heated for us. It was the perfect place for our first entire family vacation. My wife and I, our 3 grown kids and their spouses, 6 grand children and my wife's sister and niece. Already hoping to return next summer for an entire week this time. Thanks Great Elk Lodge for making this a wonderful time for our family.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

This place is awesome! Our 3 married kids (30-34) and 8 grand kids (11-10 months) are just finishing a week here. We' ve had a ball! Lots of room for this group to spread out. Pool, hammock, sip line, dock, BBQ area, theather room, kids game room, kitchen, two washer/dryer.......it has it ALL. Close to SDC, watermark, zip lines, outlet mall. We were seeking a place that would accommodate our family's needs for a 7 nights stay later this year. Great Elk Lodge is it! We especially loved the spaciousness of this home, the impressive well-equipped kitchen, the roomy hot tub and being able to enjoy the beauty of the lake from the home's massive windows. The game room as well as the media room provided for hours of great entertainment. Although, there are many attractions nearby, we liked knowing there is enough to keep us occupied in the privacy of this one location. The owner was extremely helpful and promptly addressed all of our questions. We have already booked Great Elk Lodge for our 7 night stay.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

What a wonderful property the Great Elk Lodge is. We just had a sibling reunion at the Great Elk with four couples and it was perfect ( even in February). The main living area is very big and lodge like with several different places to sit. The chairs are comfortable, the view is great, and I can't imagine how great it would be when it was warmer and the pool area is opened up. In additon to this enormous great rooms there are six bedrooms that are all well done ( the Master Suite is definitely something to see). There are two laundry areas, theater room, and game room. this house is just big, it is very well decorated, with nice materials and fixtures. The property itself is very beautiful with a bunch of privacy. I will definitely return to this property.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

About the owner: This myself and my lovely Wife. We also have four (yes 4) beautiful daughters that we enjoy spending precious moments at the lake with. We have spent every summer since 2004 on Table Rock Lake and have enjoyed it more than ever. We have captured many wonderful memories as a family and will cherish them for a lifetime!
