Visit our 4 bedroom mountain chalet called 'Alter Ego'. Alter Ego sits between two streams in a lightly wooded area, close to Ski Beech, tennis, pool and hiking trails.
Three story chalet with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms which works great for one or two families. Main floor has full kitchen, laundry room, living area with a two story fireplace, dining area that seats 10, one bathroom with shower and two bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen size bed and the second has two double beds. Outside the main floor is a large wrap around deck with gas grill, seating area and dining area. Many card games have been won or lost on the back deck while dinner is on the grill and the children are playing in the stream or swinging on the tire swing. Perfect outdoor relaxation after an active day on Beech.
Third floor has a small loft, a full bathroom and two bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed made from skis. The second bedroom has two double beds.
Lower level has a big screen TV and seating area, a bunk area with a bunk bed and two twin beds. It also has a full bathroom with shower and large jetted tub. This level also has a large walk out deck with a professional putting green! Come challenge your friends or family!
Enjoy hearing the streams as you doze off at night. Smell the clear mountain air and mountain laurel as you begin to unwind. This house is truly the 'Alter Ego' of a normal family's hectic life.

The pictures just don't do it justice! This is a wonderful, casual place for families. I started missing "my new mountain home" before I even left.Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children.

About the owner: Our family purchased this home several years ago and we have fully enjoyed the amenities, Skiing, Golf and Tennis are amazing. We even lived at the chalet for two summers. There are activities on the mountain every weekend for every age group. Having two touring junior athletes has made it difficult for us to enjoy Alter Ego as much as we would like. We love to spread the word about Beech Mountain and all of it's hidden treasures--come try it out! You are sure to come back again!
Why the Owner Chose Beech Mountain:
We travel often to Kiawah Island and Destin Florida and we believe that Beech Mountain is the Kiawah Island of the mountains...great for families. Our greatest family memories are from Beech Mountain.
