Excellent family home
Excellent family home
Our family rented this home during the summer of 2012 from mid June through first week August. This house is truly exceptional for large family vacations. Kitchen and bathrooms are all modern/up to date. The double washer/dryer and double refrigerator/freezer are so useful and smart when entertaining large families on vacation. House is well-maintained and clean. Ranch style layout is great for young families and multi-generational families (grandparents, etc). The location is excellent - walking distance to Kahala Hotel for breakfast buffet, catching crabs in the Kahala beach park across the street, golf at the Waialae country club, down the street from Whole Foods/and Kahala Mall, close to Punahou. Truly wonderful home - cannot say enough great things about it!

Our family recently stayed at this property for 10 days over Thanksgiving in November. Its Kahala location directly next to Waialae Country Club and right across the street from Kahala Beach and Waialae Beach Park was perfect. Another plus is the house is a short walk away from the Kahala Hotel & Resort and their unique Dolphin Quest program for children. The accommodations were perfect for our children and families. The heated pool in the beautiful back yard got a lot of use. Plus the back yard furniture was excellent for relaxing and basking in the sun. Inside, the pool table is super and enough couches and chairs to accommodate any type of gathering you would wish. The kitchen was perfect - and the two refrigerators plus a separate stand alone freezer was used extensively. And I should not forget the two wine coolers which came in very handy! All in all a great experience and a vacation property our whole family would certainly endorse. Mahalo!
