  My family and I have been to Waterville Valley before but wanted to stay at a different lodge this year. We are so glad we chose this particular condo at the Golden Eagle Lodge! The unit is furnished conveniently and sparks a cozy atmosphere. My kids were excited to see bunk beds. There is also a second vanity outside of the bathroom so two people can get ready at once (if you have a teenaged daughter, you know how valuable this is). All of the furniture is sturdy and comfortable. The main living space is in an open floor plan, so you can cook and still be part of the conversation with the rest of the room. We have a view of the surrounding mountains from every window, which was definitely a pleasant surprise. In general, everything was clean and in good shape. The cleaning staff is always available and prompt. There is a shuttle bus that arrives about every 15-20 minutes that goes to the ski slopes; otherwise it is barely a 10 minute drive up there. Besides skiing, there are plenty of other activities your family can enjoy, including (but not limited to) snow tubing, dog sledding, visiting the Curious George Cottage, relaxing at the pool, playing games at the arcade, taking a stroll at the Town Square which is right behind the lodge... the list goes on! Many of the lodges here provide daily activities for the entire community as well (rock climbing, ice cream socials, etc). Tonight we ate at the Coyote Grill which we strongly recommend because the food is absolutely to die for (make sure to make reservations in advance because it fills up fast after 6pm). As for the owner, he was very helpful in answering all of our questions and concerns -- all of his responses were quick and precise. We would definitely recommend this unit to anybody and are planning on coming back again! In fact, we have extended our current stay because we have been enjoying ourselves so much.
