You can have it all! This property offers the best location, architectural charm, remodeled interior, high-end furnishings, roomy interior space, and relaxing outdoor space with a heated pool!
The very first that you will notice about the property is its unmistakeable curb appeal. It is a historical property with all of the architectural charm that one expects of a classic Key West residence. It has a charming white picket fence and professional landscaping. Its bright colors reflect the warmth and vibrancy of the islands, and the spacious front porch is the perfect place to sit in the rocking chair and watch the world go by. Given the location of the property, there are many friendly tourists who walk by and admire (or photograph) this charming house.
When you enter the property you will be delighted by the lofty cathedral ceilings, abundant natural light, tasteful furnishings and the open, spacious layout. You will find a formal living room and an open dining area with seating for up to eight people.
To the right of the living/dining area is the lovely master bedroom with its plush, pillow top, king-sized bed. The luxurious ensuite master bath has marble tile and a whirlpool spa tub. There are also vaulted ceilings and a moderately-sized walk-in closet in the master bedroom, a rare find in key west.
Continuing to the back of the home, one finds an open and spacious kitchen with lots of countertop space, and a large stainless steel side-by-side refrigerator, stove, microwave, garbage disposal, deep cast iron farm sink, and a dishwasher. The kitchen opens to a family room with a very comfortable circular section and a 50' flat screen LCD high definition television with DVD, DVR, and Bose speakers.
Both the kitchen and family room are open to the beautifully furnished and recently landscaped backyard with eating, lounging and grilling areas, and a heated pool. The large french doors provide easy access to the outdoor area. At night, the area becomes a spectacular setting with spotlights on the landscaping and beautiful chromatic LED lighting inside of the pool.
There is also a powder room on the first floor, with elegant pineapple onyx and marble tile.
Progressing from the family room, one ascends the stairs to the second floor. There is a hallway with it's own minibar, refrigerator, cabinets, and countertop. There is also a full-sized front loading washer and dryer in the hallway. There is a bedroom with a queen-sized bed and another bedroom with two twin beds (that can be combined to form a king-sized bed). The upstairs bedroom is light and airy with a tub and an operable window that lets in lots of natural light. All three bathrooms have externally vented bath fans.
You will also appreciate 'small' details such as the fact that there are ceiling fans in almost every room, and most of the lights are connected to dimmers so that you can control the illumination.
Finally, there is off-street parking on a brick-paved driveway for one large car or two very small cars. This is an indispensable convenience in Old Town Key West where parking can be difficult to find.

I looked at many properties and knew that this was the one as soon as I saw it. It is in a prime location of the city, close to both Duval Street and the beach. It is also a historical property with all of the architectural charm of Key West, but updated to have all of the conveniences of modern living.
