Harrison house description
Framed by fruit trees and flowering shrubs, this home enjoys expansive and unobstructed views of Coeur d Alene Lake. The house is just a short walk to the Trail of the Coeur d Alenes (a 72-mile paved bike path), a community beach, and a boat slip. Upstairs features a large living room with fireplace, 2 bedrooms and 1 bath plus a spacious covered deck. Downstairs you'll enjoy an open floor plan that allows entertaining to flow from the kitchen/family room to the front lawn and fire pit. A 2nd bathroom and laundry are located on this level. After a day of fresh air, relax with a cool beverage on the shady trellised terrace or soak up the afternoon sun with a game of croquet on the lawn. Whimsical driftwood sculptures created by the owner add to the uniqueness of this property and provide welcome perches to songbirds and swallows.

Best Vacation Ever
Best Vacation Ever
The most fortunate find my wife and I have ever come across. The house is lovely, the yard is wonderful, the boat slip is a terrific bonus, and the whole area is teeming with opportunities to explore. From here you can walk or bicycle along the level trail, which is a short, easy jaunt down a gentle hill , (so you don't have the trail traffic to interrupt your privacy), about 2 or 3 miles to the little village of Harrison, where you can pick up the basics, or browse the little shops and gallery. Nice spots for lunch or dinner, too. Excellent marina. But back to the house. Super clean, modern appliances, very comfortable spaces. Great kitchen! A short drive into St. Maries, (about an hour, round trip) and you can shop at a great IGA market and bring home the fixings for any gourmet meal you can set your sights on. The owner is a woodworker, so the knives are razor sharp, as they should be, but often aren't. The beds are great. I just can't think of one thing that could have been better. No neighbours that you can see or hear, but if you should need to ask for help, the ones we met were very friendly and helpful. (We locked ourselves out, one morning in our pyjamas...) So $ for $, the best vacation value we've ever found, no question.

A true 'Treasure'
A true 'Treasure'
My family and I just spent a wonderful week at this property. I’m going to miss looking out to the beautiful view every day! This home offered plenty of room inside and outside, especially with two active children. The listing description was accurate and we found the property to be very clean and well-maintained. The many touches that the owners have made to the property make it so charming and cozy. Rick and Mindy answered all our questions and made sure that we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this property to my friends and family. When you stay, be sure to visit the ice cream shop in town!

A Must Stay
A Must Stay
We were the first family's to have the opportunity to stay at Trail Side Treasure and couldn't have been more pleased. Everything described in the listing was accurate, the location was very easy to find, but more than that was the extra joy we experienced that can't be described only experienced. We all loved the great art work that is everywhere on the grounds, artisan Rick Gilbraith, everyday we saw something we hadn't noticed the day before. The fire pit was a huge hit with the kids and the close cycle trail and boat dock where loved by all. If we had to pick words to say it all, it would be this is A Must Stay for anyone looking for fun and relaxation. Thank you Rick and Mindy for a very memorable vacation!!!!!

The Unique Benefits at this House:
We fell in love with this property having discovered it on a bike ride on the Trail of the Coeur d Alenes over 8 years ago; we moved here fulltime five years ago. We never get tired of the lake view and the peacefulness in all seasons.
