We have finished a full remodel/renovation of this historic home within walking distance of everything Gig Harbor has to offer. It used to be a bus depot in the 20's and a fire station in the 60's!
Our home is located right in the center of it all. Looking directly at Gig Harbor Bay and Mt. Rainier. The view is picturesque! This home's central location makes it a perfect rental for your next stay in Gig Harbor. It is located right on Gig Harbor's main walking path and next to several restaurants; Anthony's, award winning JW's restaurant, Morso Wine Bar, Devoted Kiss breakfast and lunch, Marketplace Grille, and Finholms Deli. Within a quarter mile are kayak, paddle board and boat rentals, Donkey Creek park, the city park and boat launch, and the Gig Harbor History Museum. There is also a small marketplace a few doors down. The location is perfect and you could easily walk to everything.
The house is within one mile is the local Gig Harbor public dock and park where summer concerts and events are held. Also, the world famous Tides Tavern and Green Turtle waterfront fine dining.
The house has been fully renovated. Everything is brand new inside with high quality linens and beds and free WiFi. The decor has a retro vibe and embraces the home's age and unique architecture. The house was a bus barn in the 1920-30's.
The main living area has a huge kitchen with a retro kitchen table for four. It is fully equipped and if you find something you need please let us know and we will provide it! There is a glass dining room with six chairs that looks right at the amazing view. An adjacent living room has lots of seating and above the fireplace is a new 50' TV with cable and a DVD player.
There is a full bath on the main and three bedrooms. The largest has a California King and is adjacent to the bathroom. The vintage bathroom has been refurbished including the pink fixtures and existing chandelier to embrace the homes roots.
The other bedroom includes a queen bed and ample storage. The third bedroom on the main level has a lofted double bed with a twin bed underneath.
On the bottom floor we have a King bed and another TV/family room area and table and chairs. There is another full bathroom downstairs.
The view at the house is senstational but it also means the majority of the living space is on the 2nd level. The entry is through the outside stairs and there are interior (steep) stairs as well. For more questions email me!

There is a small grassy yard behind the house and a patio right off the kitchen. All facing the incredible view this home has to offer.

Our home looks directly at Gig Harbor Bay to Mt Rainier. You can see all the commercial fishing vessels and watch the sail boat races. There are paddle board, kayak, and boat rentals across the street. You a few hundred feet from several restaurants (Anthony's, Morso Wine Bar, Devoted Kiss, Marketplace Grille, and Finholms Deli) and a market. This is on Gig Harbors main walking path and is a very short walk into town with more restaurants and all the shops. We started renting our house in Gig Harbor during a slow fishing season and found a need for more vacation rentals. We renovated this home with the intention of renting it to all those people who enjoy what Gig Harbor has to offer!
