This pool home is situated in a very quiet, private area and has all the comforts of a home away from home. It is in an estate lot community so the homes are spaced farther apart for more privacy. The home is arranged with two bedrooms and a bath on either side of the home separated by the livingroom, family room and kitchen. Great for two couples with kids traveling together.
Layout: One master suite with king-size bed, bath and entry to pool area and bedroom with two twins are on one side. One bedroom with queen-size bed and one with two twin beds are on the other and a bath. The living room, family room and kitchen are in the middle.
This home features a large, screened pool (15'X 32') and lanai with SOUTHERN EXPOSURE for all day enjoyment of the Florida SUN;
Central Stereo sound system with speakers and volume controls in common areas
WIFI internet access.
1.2 miles South of Rt 192 and just 1.1 miles to the Disney Hwy, Great during peak seasons when traffic is the heaviest. This vacation rental is also close and convenient to all shopping and attractions. Alldoors leading to the pool are alarmed for the safety of your children.
This is our home when we vacation, so it is tastefully decorated and cared for. And our rates are affordable. The community has additional public area with tennis courts, basketball courts and paved walking paths for evening strolls. The Playground is just across the street.

Hi my name is Sondra and we purchased this home close to family so wecould visit several times a year. We rent it when we are not there to help cover the costs, so I keep the rates low since this realy isn't a business for me.

Why the Owner Chose Indian Ridge
We chose this vacation home because of its proximity to the parks, The great space around the homes and walking path. So many homes we looked at had the pool screens back to back. these homes are on estate lots so there is plenty of space and privacy between you and other renters.
We loved the layout. We travel with friends so they have one side of the house. we have the other, but we hang by the pool, kitchen or family rooms.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Many of our guests love the fact that they are close enough to return for lunch and a swim and rest before returning to the parks later in the day.
We love to relax at night by the pool and listen to our favorite music. Bring your cd's central stereo holds 3, speakers by the pool, in the family room and living room.

Forgot to commend Sondra on her helpfulness in my previous comment - she was there for us on first call both during the booking process and during our stay at the villa. She was really a very obliging owner and I recommend her without any reservation.

We spent three wonderful weeks in Florida and we enjoyed every day of our stay at the villa. Located in a quiet living area (and not some tourist agglomeration), the villa had everything for a nice relaxing vacation: screened terrace with a large swimming pool (pity that all the sun loungers were broken), a TV-set in every room, and most of all – all kitchen appliances were working, the latter being a major plus for the property in my personal opinion of a more or less frequent rent-a-property-vacationer. The location of the rooms even provides for the stay of two families with children. The living area itself had several playgrounds for kids and a sports center for the adults. The neighbors were mostly nice and many of them had friendly pets willing to play with everybody. There were a Pizza Hut, a Taco Bell, an Olive Garden and several other snack-bars and restaurants not far from the villa for the ones that would prefer eating behind the corner, as well as several shopping centers for the passionate cooks. Last but not least, all entertainment parks are ca 20 to 40 min drive down the road.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

I really enjoyed my vacation at this home. The home was truly a home away from home. It was spacious and the layout was perfect for families with small children or teenagers. I loved the pool and even took advantage of the bbg grill. The neighbors were quiet and a playground was in waking distance for the kids. Its definetely near Disney World which is great for those who are interested in visiting Disney's theme parks. This home is fully equipped. You only need to bring your groceries and swim suit.

We just returned from Florida after having a first rate experience in this home. There were 7 adults (Moms, dads, grandparents & singles) and one child all together and we had plenty of room. Our daughter loved the swimming pool. The house was like our home away from home. We were literally 12 minutes from the parks. We were fortunate to be able to go back & forth during the day from the parks as they were so convenient to the home. The home was clean and comfortable. We used the washer & dryer. There were two living areas both with t.v.'s or stereo. We also played music while out in the pool and on the patio. There was sufficient lighting at the pool at night for swimming safely. There were two patio doors and another door out to the pool area from one of the bathrooms. The doors were alarmed so the home would be safe for people teaveling with young children. All areas of the house were accessible as everything is on the one level, no stairs to climd, perfect for anyone who has difficulty getting around.The neighbors were pleasant.We were close to many restaurants and stores. Our daughter wants us to book it again for next year already! We look forward to our next visit there. I have already recommended the home to several of my friends. Maria.

Our familiy of four (mom, dad, 2 girls, 4 years and 10 months) visited for full eight weeks in spring 2010, two weeks accompanied by grandma and another two weeks by a friend with her daughter. We found a very welcoming home in a very quiet although central Disney neighborhood. Here's the deal: You can find newer homes, but this one is in very good shape (and the plumbing and lighting was fixed and there's WiFi now ;-) ). You can find more impressive homes, but this one with the big oak tree in front is absolutely lovely and it gives you a private shady parking spot. You may find homes with even bigger pools but not many as this one has a real huge one (our older daughter used the time in it to learn swimming).You just can't find detached homes any closer to Disney (It's only five minutes to Animal Kingdom over Sherberth Rd.). It is big enough for 8 people, it was clean, it had everything we needed. Okay, there could be at least one better TV set maybe a better frying pan and a better vacuum (for those of you staying long enough to need it) and the switch in one of the bedrooms is a bit out of place but the bottom line is - there are many pros and no real cons. We loved it and we will try to come back next time. Five stars? No question. And if there's anything - just ask Sondra - she is a very nice and helpful landlord.

Five of us adults holed up for a week in January and had a very pleasant stay. We were out and about most days and evenings and so the house was primarily a sleeping unit, but we did do some cooking there as well. It was the coldest week in the history of Orlando FL, so I can certify that the furnace worked very well! But the entire unit was comfortable, clean, absolutely no bugs (unusual for FL) and met our needs perfectly. It was a nice layout in that 2 bedrooms and one bath are at one end of the house and the other 2/1 are at the other end of the house. A couple of imperfections were like light bulbs not working. I believe a little plumbing issue came up during the week. The internet service was hidden behind the TV, so it was a day before we found that that was where the connection was. It would be nice if it were upgraded to wireless, but only one of the five of us had a computer, so that worked fine after we found the device. All in all, it's not the Ritz, but hey, you're not paying for the Ritz, and the Excellent rating is for the value received and for the tidiness of the unit. I'd rent again in a heartbeat.

Sondra, I just wanted to say "thank you" for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home! We had such a nice time. The weather was great, the crowds small, and the children loved the pool! We spent three wonderful days visiting Sea World, Island of Adventure at Universal, and the Magic Kingdom. Your house is lovely and so convenient to everything! It was nice to be able to come back "home" after a full day. I appreciate all of your advise and tips. It made for a wonderful and easy trip! I hope we can do it again soon, and will certainly recommend your home to our friends!
