Guests are invited to experience a dream holiday in our stunning, new, three bedroom home located in the deed restricted community of Rotonda West on Florida’s Gulf Coast. Our home offers all you need for a wonderful, relaxing holiday. The villa overlooks a secluded canal and is light and spacious, beautifully furnished and equipped, air-conditioned, with cathedral ceilings, poolside bedrooms, a spacious well-equipped kitchen and ceramic-tiled bathrooms. Swim in the electrically heated pool, relax on the fully furnished lanai, stroll on one of the sandy beaches, dine in one of the many local restaurants, shop in Port Charlotte, Englewood, or Sarasota, sail along a quiet creek or fish as the sunsets.
Fully air-conditioned, our house boasts a king-size double master bedroom, en-suite bathroom with a huge walk-in shower with his-and-hers wash basins. Patio doors lead onto the poolside, for your morning coffee, whilst you watch the local wildlife. Bedroom two has a queen-size double and patio doors onto the poolside, and bedroom three is a twin room. Both rooms have large walk-in wardrobes, and there is a further guest bathroom and shower.
The kitchen is fully-equipped with a quality hob, microwave, large refrigerator with icemaker, and dishwasher. A separate utility area houses a washing machine and tumble dryer. A welcome pack of coffee, tea, and milk can be arranged.
Rotonda offers the very best of Florida in one wonderful location - natural surroundings, long beaches, turquoise seas, lush green landscapes and vivid sunsets. The South West Gulf Coast has miles and miles of natural pristine beaches and clear water, with an average temperature of about 75 degrees year round and an ocean temperature of around 80.

Date Submitted: January 06, 2009 Date of Stay: December 2008 Of all the holiday homes we have stayed in - and there have been many throughout the world - this one has to be the most welcoming, best equipped and easiest of all in which to enjoy a comfortable and relaxing holiday. the owners have put a lot of thought and expense into both the decor and facilities - the idea that it was just a holiday rental home obviously never entered their heads. The beds particularly are just out of this world - no having to get used to a strange mattress, just straight into dreamworld. Yes, a car is required to get out and explore the surrounding area and the owners have put together maps and a mine of information to help get the best out of any stay. The facility of free local calls and broadband connection was particularly appreciated, enabling us to check availability of attractions and make restaurant reservations with ease. However, unlike some other homes in which we have stayed, we didn´t ever feel that we needed to escape from the house. Indoors, the heated pool and the view from the lanii were so relaxing that we were happy to stay put on a lot of days. The huge gas BBQ was put to very good use at those times - the US steaks are the best we have had anywhere. We did have one or two minor difficulties with equipment but the response by the managing agent was immediate and positive. Excellent service. On a final note, anyone thinking about a Xmas break, could do no better than stay here in Rotonda West. With nearly every house in the locality decorated with festive displays of twinkling lights, evening strolls were like walking in a winter wonderland. Fantastic for the kids - both the young and the young at heart. Recommended for: Age 55+, Families with Young Children, Sightseeing

We have stayed on Rotonda twice previously and all the houses are very similar in terms of layout, however this house goes much further... The standard and quality of furnishing and the additional extras such as golf passes, beach chairs, pool toys for the kids, Bose stereo system all went to add the icing on the cake! The owners have clearly really thought about what makes a good home away from home and the management company appear to do a very good job of preparing & maintaining the house. You do need a car in this area to get to the main beaches and attractions but this means you get the benefit of living in quiet and relaxing surroundings where wildlife is abundant. This is not the wild side of Florida but makes a great base for a superb family beach holiday. Recommended for: Age 55+, Tourists with a Car, Romantic Getaway, Families with Young Children

Everything you could think of except your groceries. Quiet golfing community with great deals on four courses. Great dinner special at gold club each week. A car is required to access many coastal beaches, shopping and national parks. The master bedroom is huge with a bathroom that looked like a complete room - walk in shower, double vanities and private toilet. Living room is huge with Bose stereo and internet access. Pool is very warm with all the toys and amenities for outside dining. The owner is very accommodating as is the property manager." As always the time has flown by, the weather has been good and most of the time in the 70's. We have used the bicycles almost every day and spent a lot of time on the beach and played a bit of golf. We have enjoyed "living" in Phil & Jean's house and it has felt like home from home with all the trees, birds & wildlife on the doorstep.
