Anegada is the most remote and unique of the British Virgin Islands!
A flat coral atoll about 12 miles from Tortola and Virgin Gorda, it has long been noted for its miles and miles of uninterrupted white sand beaches, extraordinary snorkeling from the beach, and swimming. It is a haven to interesting wildlife such as flamingoes and the Anegada iguana.
Because it is remote, however, it has remained unspoiled and quiet. With a total population of about 200 on an island the size of Manhattan, one is never pressured by crowds. The pace is easy and the people friendly.
Lavenda Breeze is one of Anegada's few luxury villas; it certainly is the newest. It sits midway in the crescent of Loblolly Bay, the finest of Anegada's beaches, looking out in all directions over miles and miles of open Anegada terrain and to the sea. It is about a 50 foot walk into the ocean!
Each of the comfortable seaside bedrooms has its own bathroom and private outdoor shower. The second floor contains the living room, dining area, game area, kitchen, and powder room. It's an open setting with giant doorways that make the 360 degree covered deck an extended part of the daily living space.

Year-round rate: $3,500 per week ($500 per night)except Christmas/New Years.
Minimum stay: 5 nights. Extra nights pro-rated at $500 per night.
Christmas/New Years rate: $4,550 per week ($650 per night); Minimum 10 nights.

magnificent beach and snorkeling get away

This is the perfect house on the perfect beach on the perfect reef. Best snorkeling in the entire area. We saw rays and sea turtles, reef is thriving, coral is in great shape. Wild flamingos on the island's inland pond system are magnificent. A true quiet vacation.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We spent 10 nights on the beautiful Island of anegada. Lavenda Breeze was by far the best choice we could have made. We would love to come back to enjoy the breezes, the snorkling, and the lobster. The best snorkling is in front of Lavenda and just up the shore a bit. Restaurants are expensive, especially if you desire lobster. The most affordable lobster is bought off the pier and cooked at home. Lavenda Breeze is very quiet and pristine. Don't need much, so don't bring much; just time, good weather, and good company! Many good memories. Enjoy.

I have been in search of the perfect island for almost thirty years. I have probably visited more than twenty islands--the South Pacific, Hawaii, and many in the Carribean. My ideal is the well cared for house with modern amenities, on the perfect beach, surrounded by nature and seclusion. I found it all at Lavenda Breeze!

I first visited anegada in 1997, before Lavenda Breeze existed and was stunned by the beauty, tranquility and remoteness of this little-known corral atoll in the otherwise well-traveled British Virgin Islands. Anegada is characterized by wonderful people, jaw-dropping miles of empty beaches, nature, and simplicity. Most accomodations on the island are basic and clean, but Lavenda Breeze is a high-end villa set in a very private beachfront location. Expect total relaxation, and great comfort. The house is beautifully and thoughtfully appointed and feels like "home" almost upon arrival. This is one of the most special Caribbean hideaways imagineable. It's worth booking years in advance, as we do now.

My wife and I have vacationed at many tropical locations in the world and Lavenda Breeze exceeded all our expectations. Soft trade winds blew 24/7 and the views of the secluded beach and the crashing of the surf on the offshore reef lulled us to sleep each night. The owners have installed a system that makes advance provisioning painless and if one wishes to dine out there are several restaurants on this small island that will welcome guests with a smile and local fare that will please anyone's palate. Lavenda Breeze is not for the partying, gambling or cruise ship crowd. Rather it is designed for those who wish to re-charge their batteries, read in solitude or snorkel in pristine, tropical waters. We are going back!
