  We had a bad start to what ended up being a great vacation to the Family Reunion Cabin. The area was evacuated the day we were to arrive do to a forrest fire. We could not get into the cabin for 2 nights. We were lucky that the cabin was fine. The cabin would have gotten an excellent review if the dishwasher would have been working. With 11 people doing dishes by hand is a lot of work. The sleeping arrangements were perfect and the decks, pool and hottub were awesome. When we weren't at the lake we were out back on the deck and swimming. The owners were very helpful and kind throughout the fire issues and they were very good to work with on setting everything up prior to our arrival. We didn't inform them until our return that the dishwasher wasn't working and they are already preparing to have it replaced, at which time the cabin will be perfect. We our already looking at renting again next year.

  Thanks for the well equipped, clean and cozy home! This was our second trip here and we loved it. We spent most of our day out on the patio area enjoying the scenery, swimming and barbequing. We saw a few deer and enjoyed the stars at night. Can’t wait to visit again! Thank you!

  I have stayed at this property many times with friends and family and each time we have enjoyed it so much. The cabin is nestled in the woods, surrounded by a breathtaking view of thousands of beautiful trees. Waking up each morning gives such a wonderful feeling because of the cozy environment inside the cabin. When I step outside and take in the wonderful view, I am always pulled back to rent this cabin once again. The cabin is great for families as it includes a basketball court, a pool, and a short drive away from Lake Shasta. Each night was a wonderful one with my family because we shared dinner together on the gorgeous dining room table; then after, we would enjoy looking at the stars in the beautiful clear night sky. I will definitely come back! My kids can't wait to visit the Family Reunion Cabin again :)

  We have stayed at this cabin during the winter and most recently in the summer. The location is beautiful with panoramic views of the pine filled mountains. You feel like you are miles away from civilization when in fact you are just a short drive to the lake. The home was cozy enough to fit our family of 10. The kids loved the pool in the summer and we even took a trip to Shasta Caverns which was a 15 min drive. I would definately recommend this home to anyone.
