Recently remodeled (6/12) luxury ~2,000 sq.ft. 5th floor condo on the beach facing the ocean. Professionally and tastefully decorated to provide the comfort of a relaxing vacation get-away (see photos below).
Step out onto the extensive, full-width terrace with a 180 degree view of the ocean! Eat a quiet breakfast from the terrace and look for whales in the bay, or for dolphins in the surf. Watch the sun set in front of you every evening in gorgeous sunsets. Listen to the calming sounds of the surf 24/7. Go through the main lobby, out to the patio, the pools and the warm aerated spa. Barbeque around the pool with your family and friends. Step onto the beach and walk for miles on fine white sand. Look for sea shells. Enjoy seeing sea turtles come to lay their eggs during the summer and early fall. Watch the Turtle Preserve release baby sea turtles back to the ocean in the evenings a few hundred yards up the beach.
There are many excellent restaurants in the Paradise Village Hotel-Resort areas and shopping mall, as well as in downtown Puerto Vallarta. References and intructions on how to make reservations are provided in the condo.
Play golf at the El Tigre 18 hole championship golf course, which is part of the Paradise Village Resort complex.
Also enjoy the member's Sports Club center. You can play tennis, basketball, volleyball, racquet ball, ping pong, etc. The center has a large lap pool and swim pools with poolside service. It has state-of-the art exercise equipment. It also has a kids pool with water park, and indoor air-conditioned play area for kids 10 years old and under. The large beautiful locker rooms have towel service, steam room, sauna, hot tub, and showers. Treat yourself to a luxurious massage in the full European style spa.
There is also recreation on one of the worlds' most beautiful beaches. Go banana boating, parasailing, or simply swim in the warm inviting water lapping upon the shore. There is a water taxi that you can take to downtown Puerto Vallarta. Locally enjoy excursions and day trips to swim with the dolphins, visit the jungle canopy (jip-line) experiences, pirate sails on Bandaras Bay, Jeep safaris, local tequila distilleries, and more. Or enjoy shopping in the Paradise Resort mall or in downtown Puerto Vallarta between your strolls along the newly-remodelled beachfront Malecon walkway. WOW-what an amazing condo/area. Just returned from a 2 week trip.Condo pictures on line don't come close to the vista in the real. Jack was a pleasure to deal with-responded to all my questions and provided valuable guidence when needed. Arrived and met by daytime 'bellman'/security guard Antonio.He was also there most days to get us a cab(comes to from door of condo)/put out beach chairs as well as keeping the palapa's in front of the condo for the owners/renters of building 5(Building 1-4 share common pool/beach chairs) After settling in the first night decided to walk to dinner- went to Riviera Grill-5 minute walk(see review below)-excellent.Whole area of Paradise village is SAFE to walk around day or night. Only 3 roads into the area-access is guarded/controlled especially at night. Next morning to cab($8) to nearby Walmart(yes-sorry big chains are in the area)-clean modern store. Helpful English speaking staff.Bought groceries for 4 for a week-$100. Basically made our own breakfast/lunch each day(full well equipped kitchen)-then headed out most nights to eat(see below) There is food/drink service on the beach from the 'Beach Club'-also good/well priced-just have to settle bill at the end of each day. Every morning my wife and I would wake up,open blinds and take in the view.The we would head out for a 1-2 hour beach walk.Never seen such an expansive beach.One morning we walked to next town over-Bucerias with the kids( 11/2 hrs) and had breakfast at Karen's place-a must. Rest of the day on the beach/lying at the pool and just soaking up the sun. Only went into PV once to walk along the new Malecon- was fun Also ate at El Dinamita(easy walk-best meal-try the Tuna Poke)/Adauto -on the beach in Bucerias (best seafood platter)/Barcelona -downtown PV-Spanish Tapas/great sangria5)Fajita Republic-easy walk as well-good food/Sandrina's-Bucerias-very romantic courtyard setting-local art walk Thursday eveningsEddies- in Neuvo marina near Mayan Palace -good atmosphere/good reasonably priced food Stay away from 11)Portobello-new area of Marina Vallarta-near Eddies -worst meal/experience by far- -overpriced/pretentious staff Other trips-ATV at Rancho Capoma-negotiate without food/booze-but buy once there Ecco tour into mountains in heel with amazing guide-Juan Delamore(juandelamora@yahoo.com/044-322-134-3598)-he is also setting up a surf school in Sayulita-latter fun day trip Los Veranos-canopy tour/day trip to YelapaRecommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.
